3 The principal, Mathew, is an avid student of acoustics since 1997 and a postgraduate mechanical engineer from the North Carolina State University, USA. He has trained under Mr. Larry Royster PhD., USA, a professor renowned in the field of noise control and hearing conservation. He continues to work for Stewart Acoustical Consultants, a member firm of the National Council of Acoustical Consultants, USA. He is a member of ASA (Acoustical Society of America), ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers), ASTM (American Society for Testing & Measurements) and INCE (Institute of Noise Control Engineers), to ensure the latest information in the field of acoustics and noise control are easily available to his clients Stanley has been in the field of noise control for over 18 years, with hands on experience in the control of noise and ventilation of diesel generators, compressors and industrial units machinery as an executioner and design and build contractor. His experience with noise control brings to the table the ability to design and generate practical and cost effective noise control design solutions for minimal interference to the functionality of the machinery. He was solely responsible for the development and application of composite panels as acoustical enclosures for diesel generators, which is now being implemented by companies such as Kirloskar and other large diesel generator manufacturers. Sam has been in the acoustics field for over 20 years. He is a graduate with Television Production & Radio Communication (Ontario, Canada), Audio Visual Communication and Community Video Production. He worked as Operations Co-Coordinator for fourteen years at the Far East Broadcasting Associates (FEBA RADIO) and as a Studio Manager with Media Center, Lavelle Road, Bangalore. He was also a visiting faculty for the Bangalore University Electronic Media Department and Magic in Motion TV Production Course for the subjects of acoustics and studio sound engineering. George Mathew is a consultant in HVAC noise control, who specializes in the review of HVAC and others related noise and vibration control. His experience: Total 30 years of experience in air conditioning Supervision, erection and installation, commissioning of various types of Air conditioning equipment such as Centrifugal, Reciprocating, Absorption Chillers, Pumps, BMS Systems Etc. From 1986 June till 2001 Nov. He worked as Head of Air conditioning section for the Seeb Directorate, Diwan of Royal Court, Sultanate of Oman. All these installations required to meet the very stringent noise and vibration control expectations of the Royal Court. Through these experiences, he brings a much required practical understanding of the possible difficulties and concerns created by improper installation of HVAC systems on the acoustics

4 Mr.Abhinav Verma Abhinav is an enthusiastic professional who did his MSc in Environmental Acoustics from The University of Salford, England. He has nurtured his analytical skills under the able guidance of Dr.Andy Moorhouse. He is also a qualified sound engineer from SAE (School of Audio Engineering, Australia) and had experience as a DJ in various lounges which gave him an understanding of sound interaction acoustics in different lounges. His diversity in varied qualifications in relation to sound engineering and acoustics allows for the desired design skills as required in all kinds of room acoustic projects. He is also a non-corporate member of Institute of Acoustics, UK which is an internationally recognized professional qualification which gives access to Acoustics bulletin, published proceedings and access to different library facilities of England. Roopa had completed her MSc. in Audio Acoustics from The University of Salford, UK. Her interests are music, Architectural Acoustics, Instrumentation music development, Noise Control, and Perceptual Audio. She specializes in the development of room acoustics for music suites under Western and Classic Music styles. Mrs. Roopa Krishnamurthy
