4 MPLS Port Transport Speeds Contractor s Description of Service, include required service description, features and additional features offered by Contractor: AT&T s MPLS service (AT&T VPN or AVPN) is a networkbased IP VPN solution that is enabled by Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology. AT&T VPN service enables Customers to build an application aware virtual private network to link locations and efficiently transmit critical, delay-sensitive, and general data over a single connection using Multiprotocol Label Switching. Customers have the option of choosing the access method to AT&T VPN which best meets their requirements. Dedicated Private Line and Ethernet and DSL (where available) may all be used to connect to an MPLS port. This is a Port Only service. 19 157 AT&T VPN Network Based Firewall Multiple (See features IDs below) MSS-NBFW Service will enable businesses to support and enforce sophisticated network Security Policies from one or more of the AT&T Internet Data Centers where the Network Based Security platform reside, also referred to as the Security Data Center (SDC). Customers are able to more efficiently implement a consistent Security Policy for multiple sites. MSS-Network Based Firewall enforces traffic separation among Customers by enabling Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) tagging. For Customers who wish to make use of the AT&T MSS-Network Based Firewall service, AT&T will establish a Private Virtual Circuit (PVC) from a Customer location to the service in order to filter the traffic coming in or going to the Internet. The type of PVC will vary based on the Customer s WAN architecture. Traffic separation is designed to occur without tunneling or encryption. See below Required Designating configuration complexity, there are three levels available as a part of AT&T s MSS-Network Based service. These levels are: Low Complexity Medium Complexity High Complexity Subcategory 1.2 MPLS, VPN and Converged VoIP Updated 10/23/14 Page 16 of 156

20 158 Low Complexity NF001 Low Complexity: Common Customer Security Policy allowing both inbound and outbound traffic flow based on the configuration. The Low Complexity Level Includes basic set of reports and certain self administration capabilities via BusinessDirect. With this service level, the customer is provided a PAT address as default, but since inbound services can be supported, up to 8 IP addresses could be assigned as part of the service given there s justification from the customer based on the design. A typical but not exhaustive list of protocols and ports is the following: HTTP (80) HTTPS (443) HTTP ALT (8080) SMTP (25) HTTPS ALT (8443) o FTP_CTRL (21) ICMP ECHO DNS UDP/TCP (53) TELNET (23) o SSH/SFTP (22) MSS-NB provides support for up to 10 total authorized Customer contacts (applies to all levels). Six (6) MACD service requests per month are allowed with each service level. Additional requests are subject to additional charges. No SNMP traffic is allowed to traverse the firewall (applies to all service levels). Only Critical ICMP (ping) traffic is allowed (troubleshooting or periodic checks. Customers are encouraged to aggregate their Rules' source and destination addresses into networks rather than to specific Hosts. Source and destination networks should be subnetted up to the largest/most inclusive range. AT&T recommends that source or destination Rules apply to all users ( ANY ), which is usually for $ - $ per firewall Subcategory 1.2 MPLS, VPN and Converged VoIP the common Updated 10/23/14 services Page 17 of 156 needed by all users such as HTTP, HTTPS,
