The range is available in Low Temperature (Split and Monobloc) and High Temperature. Daikin Altherma High Temperature is an industry first system that can deliver water temperatures of up to 80 C, providing an ideal solution for boiler replacement in harder to treat properties. Daikin solar thermal systems can be combined with Daikin Altherma to provide a fully integrated renewable energy solution. Heat emitters Daikin heat pump convector The highly efficient, low noise Daikin heat pump convector is designed to provide the maximum comfort and high efficiency in combination with Daikin Altherma heat pumps. The heat pump convector improves system efficiency compared to a combined under floor heating and radiator system and to a fan coil heating system. The Daikin heat pump convector has been designed to work effectively at low temperatures, while retaining a compact size compared to an equivalent output radiator sized for 45 C. The heat pump convector can easily replace existing heat emitters. The unit is very quiet in operation and is ideal for bedroom applications. The unit has a quiet operation mode which can be selected using the remote controller. The sound levels are as low as 18dB(A) on 2kW system and 12dB(A) on 1.5kW system on the quiet mode. Daikin heat pump convectors offer a solution combined with UFH systems to provide heat in areas where UFH is difficult to integrate. It is designed to support heating only and heating / cooling applications. 21 Solar thermal The Daikin solar system maximises the use of renewable free energy from the sun through high efficiency flat plate collectors. The Daikin solar thermal system is available in pressurised and drainback options and is designed to work in conjunction with Daikin Altherma air-water heat pumps for maximum efficiency. Solar panels are Solar Keymark approved and eligible for RHPP grants. Solar thermal 1. The pressurised solar system transfers heat to the cylinder through a specially designed heat exchanger kit. This allows the entire cylinder to be heated by solar energy. During solar heating, the heat pump is disabled giving priority to solar energy ensuring maximum efficiency. 2. The drainback solar system utilises an unpressurised thermal store. Water in the store is pumped to the solar panels, heated and returns to stratify in the Daikin thermal store. When solar energy is not available, the solar collectors empty and water drains back to the store. There is no need for antifreeze agents. 3.
