3 1 Intrductin This dcument briefly describes at a high level the new features and mdificatins t the existing functinality f Client Care Desktp (CCD). It des nt detail every change made t the system t imprve the verall prduct where the functinality is the same as previus versins f the sftware. If yu are upgrading frm a previus versin f CCD then all f this dcument will be f interest t yu. If yu are a new user f the sftware, yu may nly be interested in the new features sectin f this dcument. Please refer t the CCD Upgrade User Guide fr further details f the key changes. An additinal guide and shrt demnstratin vides are als available fr the Cntract Enquiry service which can be dwnladed frm the Capita Financial Sftware website: If yu are upgrading frm a versin prir t CCD v4.3.1 r have any specific training requirements, please cntact the Training department t discuss the ptins available: Tel:

4 2 New Features This sectin details the significant new features and updates included in this release. 2.1 New Cntract Enquiry Functinality Imprt This new service allws yu t imprt Cntract Enquiry valuatin data prvided by any UK insurer using a simple standard template. This enables ppulatin f fund infrmatin en masse, saving hurs f time and effrt. The insurer des nt have t be a recgnised Orig r Cntract Enquiry valuatin service prvider, therefre imprting fund infrmatin at a cntract level frm any Platfrm, Discretinary Fund Manager r SIPP prvider can be actined Mapping When a Cntract Enquiry message is imprted, it will appear in the mapping screens. This area has been cmpletely rewrked t prvide yu with a clear interface t map the data received at a Client, Hlding r Fund level. Once the data is mapped and prcessed, it will remember the fund mapping s that yu d nt have t repeat the prcess fr that fund. The new screens allw yu t view full details f the fund infrmatin t facilitate accurate fund mapping. Please nte: As part f ur mve twards a mre streamlined upgrade prcess, the new Cntract Enquiry functinality is available as a separate mdule update, allwing yu t take advantage f this new functinality withut the need t carry ut a full upgrade f CCD. 2.2 Editable Value Lists New functinality has been included t retain lists that have been edited by the end user in their current versin and ppulate the upgraded system with the new cre editable value lists tgether with the values entered by the firm. The ability t update these value lists can be prvided t all staff r restricted t thse wh have access t the Setup area f the system. 2.3 Cmpliance Reprting by Branch Regulatry reprts within the Cmpliance sectin have been extended t allw reprting by branch/lcatin if required. 2.4 Write Off Reprt A new remuneratin schedule reprt is available within the administratin area t display the remuneratin amunts written ff during the recnciliatin prcess. Write ff amunts have als been included n the existing allcatin reprt within a receipt. 4

5 2.5 Servicing Reviews The Outcme field recrded n an histrical review is nw an editable values list, enabling yu t recrd a status n the review, such as Cmplete, Deferred r Declined. A new review reprt is available within the administratin area t prvide a summary f reviews carried ut during a specific perid, summarised by utcme. 2.6 Remuneratin Psting New ptins are available t specify whether yu wish t pst regular and renewal entries up t the current date r thrugh t the end f the mnth. The preference will be determined under the Setup area, with the default set t pst t the current date. 2.7 Licencing A simplified CCD re-licencing prcedure has been intrduced t allw the update f licences in ne quick easy step. 2.8 Dcument Management Changes Fr users f the INVU and CabiNet dcument management systems, the functinality has been extended t allw yu t add and cnfigure additinal cabinets t stre dcuments prcessed via CCD. 2.9 Aut enrlment updates Updates have been included t flag at a scheme and member level where the aut enrlment prcess has been used n grup schemes List data entry We have intrduced sme additinal standard lists t the system, which yu will see in areas such as Natinality, Residency and Tax Dmicile. Yu will als start t ntice that many f the lists will reduce as yu start t enter the data. Where there is nly a single ptin left t select, the system will autmatically ppulate the data and mve yu t the next field. 5

6 3 Mdificatins This sectin details sme f the key mdificatins since the last release. Additinal fields have been included in the table f hlding recrds within the administratin reprting area t enable yu t query mre data. New fields include: Prduct Basis Mrtgage basis Mrtgage: Special requirements Mrtgage: Evidence f earnings The values in the Transactin field within a remuneratin recrd will display all remuneratin types, allwing the user t amend the value within the recrd An additinal ntes field has been included n Invices t allw the end user t add ntes relating specifically t the individual invice. These ntes will appear n the printable invice The cntract reasn/bjective list n the hlding prduct screen is nw available as an editable value list, allwing the end user t include additinal values specific t their firm Within the Identity area n a client recrd, the Equifax website link has been updated. The upgrade rutine has been updated t cndense the number f actins perfrmed t run the upgrade. Clients upgrading frm a mre recent versin f CCD shuld benefit frm a reduced upgrade time. 6
