8 Strategic Sourcing Effort Procurement Diagnostic Study Strategic Sourcing Effort Public Public Eli Lilly and Company Responsible for facilitating the development of the system-wide equipment requirements for computing, audio visual, and duplication equipment, developing a comprehensive request for proposal, and delivering significant cost savings. The total amount spent for this commodity was approximately $40 million. Assisted with a procurement analysis and sourcing diagnostic study. The activities performed for this project included conducting staff and supplier interviews, mapping and documenting the current procurement process; developing a proposed purchasing process, conducting an Information Technology (IT) assessment of the client s information system infrastructure; and developing recommendations to improve commodity sourcing and processing of purchasing transactions. The diagnostic study examined approximately $400 million dollars in spend.
