2 The Proof We understand there are tons of fake gurus out there trying to sell products or teach without any real first hand experience. This is not us. We run several online businesses that thrive and pay our bills. Here is a screenshot of our marketing system (Ontraport) showing the number of s we ve collected in the last 6 months. We ve only hidden the s for obvious privacy concerns but you can clearly see by looking at the date added column that we collect 100 s of s daily. All of them using the tools shared in this document.

4 Most website owners focus on getting traffic to their website, they get excited when their page views increase, when they rank higher on Google or when one of their post goes viral on social media. I don t. All I see when my traffic ramps up is higher server bills without any guarantee that we ll make more than a few pennies per click if the page has ads on it. Not exactly what s going to pay my next holiday to some exotic place. However, when I see an increase in subscriber, I know it almost always correlates with increased revenue both in the short and long term and THAT gets me excited. Why? Because I can keep talking to these people again and again, I can make mistakes and still get back in touch and ultimately I can sell them on my knowledge and earn their trust, all of that on complete autopilot using a complex behavioural autoresponder system (more on that later).

5 The tools we will share with you in this documents are the tools we use today to generate hundreds of s daily from our sites without spending a dime on PPC. We ve spent thousands of dollars and tried pretty much every tool on the market because at our level, even a 1% uplift is worth thousands of dollars. As a result we ve been able to curate a list of the best tools in each category and you ll be surprised to see that some free or inexpensive tools actually outperform tools that sometimes cost several hundreds of dollars a month. But remember, tools are only part of the equation. If you don t use them correctly or if you do the wrong thing with them, they can potentially do more harm than good. That s been the case with every tool throughout human history and this list is no exception. But for now I ll let you go through the list and show you something you might like at the end. PS: If you don t have an autoresponder service yet, you ll need one to use most of the tools listed in this document. We highly recommend Getresponse as it s inexpensive yet highly customisable.

6 Cost: Free Opt in Method: Opt in Pop Up Opt in pop ups are by far the best way to collect s. Most pop ups allowing you to create good pop ups are paid but Sumome is different. While it doesn t offer advanced features such as A/B testing or category targeting it s very possible to collect a lot of s using Sumome

7 Cost: $59 One Off Opt in Method: Opt in Pop Up, Sticky Ribbon, in content forms, 2 step opt in, slide in forms, Opt in widgets Thrive leads is basically the premium version of Buzzsumo. Their easy drag & drop editor (see screenshot) along with their advanced A/ B testing abilities really allow you to fine tune your design and push your conversion rates to very high level. Because it s a one off cost it s by far the best tool in that list according to us.

8 Cost: Free Opt in Method: Sticky Link to squeeze page Hello Bar is one of these free tools that everyone loves. It s 100% free and allows you to add a sticky call to action to the top of your website linking to any page. This is particularly powerful if you re running time sensitive events such as giveaways or product launches and you have decent traffic on your website. Anyway it s free so give it a shot!

10 Cost: $25/month Opt in Method: Landing Pages, 2 Step Opt In Leadpages is a fairly young company that has made a big splash in the lead generation world in the last 2 years. They constantly release the highest converting opt in pages & squeeze pages on the market. Plus, with their easy point&click editor, getting pages up only takes minutes.

11 Cost: Free Opt in Method: Comment Redirect One of the easiest ways to drive traffic to your opt in pages along with Hellobar is this free plugin by Yoast. It allows you to redirect people to a page of your choice after they commented on your site for the first time. If you can offer a nice incentive, most people will sign up to your list and grow the ranks of your subscribers.

12 Cost: Free or $39/month Opt in Method: Contests / Giveaways Gleam.io is a powerful giveaway / contest platform helping you to create viral contests quickly and spread them further. The platform includes a bunch of great features such as viral sharing (people are incentivised to share), collection or social platform integration to not only collect s but also grow your social following. If you re looking for burst growth, giveaways may be it. Check it out!

13 Cost: Free up to 50,000 events/month Use: Contests / Giveaways Optimizely is one of the most powerful A/B testing software out there. If you want to collect more s, simply create a variation of your collecting pages on Optimizely and test simple things like your headline or call to action. You can simply click and edit any part of your page to create a variation, plus, they have a sweet Wordpress plugin. What s not to love?

14 Cost: $39 One Off Use: Viral quizzes with lead capture This opt in method is a lot less popular than the previous options presented but can be incredibly effective if executed correctly. The quizzes not only play with the curiosity of your visitors but you can personalise their results and have share them on their social networks creating a viral loop bringing more traffic to the quiz. On top of that, you can hide the results until your prospects opt in AND put them on different lists depending on their results for better segmentation. Great little one off tool.

15 Q2W3 Fixed Widget Cost: Free Use: Creating fixed scrolling widget Q2W3 allows you to transform lame sidebar collection widgets into real magnets. How? It allows you to make your widgets stick on the visitor s screen as they scroll passed it. It may not seem like much but we ve seem up to 6x more s from sidebar widgets using this trick. Not bad for something that s 100% free. Just install the plugin and tick the box as per the screenshot on your widgets to start using it
