19 HIV and the Coverage Gap: Disparities among those in the gap Kaiser Health News reported in March that nearly 115,000 uninsured, low-income people living with HIV/AIDS would be eligible for Medicaid if all states expanded Medicaid. Of that number, nearly 60,000 live in states not expanding Medicaid.

Clients who change plans must switch their coverage before December 15, 2014 to stay covered for January 1, *** Clients who are auto-enrolled will have no gap in coverage. Clients who are changing plans need to enroll by 12/15/14 to avoid any gap in coverage for plans beginning 1/1/15.
