We have also launched new modules ranging from Bespoke Online Testing and adapting our core platform to facilitate an Awards Programme. Through it all, I hope we have continued our focus on making our Client Services Programme stronger than ever. 2 A GREAT SYSTEM KEEPS GETTING BETTER Reporting Suite with Filters Here at Engage ATS, we have always prided ourselves on our product s reporting capabilities and in-line with our innovation roadmap we have just launched our dynamic market leading Reporting with Filters module, which now gives clients 3 choices when running reports. Recently, we have been working more closely than ever with our clients in the Higher Education sector to ensure we meet their particular needs. Specifically many have asked for our help in reporting data, to support their submission to the Athena Swan standard. It s a challenge we are fully equipped to meet, thanks to our industry leading reporting tool, Reporting Suite With Filters. The tool gives you total control of your reporting needs. Benefits including, a user friendly interface and the ability to pivot and filter inside the system. No more converting in Excel! This exciting functionality builds upon and takes our reporting module to a new level - giving our clients configurable, filtered data at their fingertips, when they need it. It s no stretch to call it an industry defining product. Job Description builder A challenge faced by many of our clients is gaining standardisation across job description templates for recruitment. So we introduced a tool which allows hiring managers to create job descriptions online as part of the vacancy approval process. Engage ATS s Job Description Builder enables you to create a number of standardised, pre-confirmed templates, to be stored on the system. These can be selected and edited by the hiring manager and can also include scoring criteria. Once the template is ready, Job Description Builder sends it to a pre-confirmed approval route (configurable by the client). The Job Description approval process can (configurable by the client) happen at the same time as the Vacancy Approval process. If preferred approval work-flows can have completely separate process routes. If required the final, approved Job Description can be printed as a fully branded PDF. One Login Internal mobility is a key to many of our clients recruitment and resourcing strategies. It requires a system that makes the internal process of viewing, applying and hiring internal candidates as simple as possible. One Login is the answer. We have developed this new functionality so that internal users can have multiple user accounts through a single login /password. Say goodbye to the use of personal addresses to create candidate accounts. There is an option for users to select which one of multiple account/user settings they want to enter the system with - convenor, hiring manager, key admin or candidate. This can all be configured alongside single sign on functionality.

Jordan Kay Business Development Consultant Formerly a professional footballer, Jordan moved into business to business sales on completing his degree. With a solid commercial background, he has joined Engage ATS to help drive our ambitious growth targets. Alexis Ward Senior Client Services Executive Alexis comes to Engage ATS in Manchester with a wealth of experience, having worked in the recruitment sector as a process and systems administrator. She will enhance our (already strong) recruitment knowledge, which is integral to our ability to support and understand client needs. Chris Birdsall Client Services Executive We are delighted to welcome Chris to the new Manchester Team. He brings to the role a huge amount of client service experience and a solid software system background. New Engage ATS office opening in Manchester Engage ATS have grown dramatically since our inception, across every aspect of our business. The next step in this growth is our biggest to date. We are proud to announce a new office to open in Manchester! 52 Princess Street will house our newly created Manchester Team, which includes members of both our client services and technical teams. Geographically, this gives us a strong platform to support our clients. Manchester is one of the UK s leading Digital Hubs. So it s the perfect fit with our drive for innovation and cutting edge solutions.
4 NEW CLIENTS We re always delighted when great organisations opt for Engage ATS s product and service. These are our latest additions.
5 CASE STUDY BRITISH COUNCIL Challenge The British Council wanted to revolutionise their application process. With 200 recruiters operating in over 100 countries, they deal with upwards of 800 vacancies at any one time. Their existing process varied from country to country and was based on a mix of different databases. This meant the quality of the candidate experience varied widely. To solve this, they asked us to Build a new and comprehensive ATS. They wanted to control, analyse and review their global recruitment landscape via a simple yet intelligent interface. They also needed to create a more consistent application process without losing any flexibility. After all, the system needed to work seamlessly across a range of countries, cultures and time zones. Solution We developed the British Council s new ATS from the ground up. Over a 12-week build, we tailored their configuration to meet all of their specific requirements. We centralised the internal and external application processes, giving them the ability to communicate en masse with their candidate pool. In practical terms, this meant their team no longer had to spend hours replying to candidates individually. It could now be done in a matter of clicks. Processing candidates within the system was made as easy as possible, allowing British council to save 100 s of hours in administration taking candidates from application through to offer. Report Generator was put in place to give British council a huge lift in their ability to understand their data and use it save money on attraction, drive business change and demonstrate diversity. Finally Scheduling was developed to allow candidate a self-service approach to confirming interview slots globally, again saving 100 s of hours in administration time. Success The British Council s ATS has been a resounding success, but don t take our word for it. We thought it d be best if you heard it straight from the client themself: The British Council s idea behind the introduction of Engage ATS was to help lift the Resourcing function s position within the business and improve its service to the wider organisation. This has clearly been achieved in a number of ways. Firstly we have vastly reduced administration saving the team days per month. We now have the reporting tools to drive more effect recruitment strategies, saving money and reducing time to hire. Overall our global approach to resourcing has been brought together under one system, creating a single team ethos. 6 ABOVE AND BEYOND THE ATS Clients often approach us for solutions to challenges that fall outside of the normal ATS system requirements. But here at Engage ATS, we love a challenge. So in providing a solution, we take the same innovative approach as we do to Core system developments. We re bringing the idea of configurable to the next level. Below, we detail a couple of exciting, developing projects ALUMNI AWARDS SYSTEM One of our high profile, public sector clients organises a prestigious annual Alumni Awards scheme, which covers 11 countries globally. Traditionally, it has been managed by a team of administrators, using traditional spreadsheet and tools. Challenge While extremely effective, the historical approach brings with it a number of considerations - from administration resource and time consumption, through to the volume of correspondence and inefficiency in the screening process. Solution Bottom line - take the process online. Utilising our Shared Service functionality, the client has been able to build a fully branded awards application platform, secured against their current Engage ATS system. Adapted with additional developments, the platform allows nominees to complete their application form online, review any nomination they receive and - through the use of our Simple Recommendations functionality - be screened at both university and country level. Benefits The solution will provide a huge increase in efficiency for all users - and particularly for the client s key administrators. They can now process, correspond and screen the application list in bulk. What s more, they benefit from a host of additional advantages, including reporting capability, enhanced candidate experience and our future proof system framework. ONLINE SITUATIONAL JUDGEMENT TEST VIDEO Background A high profile, public sector client of Engage ATS has thousands of positions to fill every year. They recently embarked on a nationwide campaign, to attract new talent to the sector and increase the number of candidates with the right personal attributes. Their recruitment process needs to challenge and assess candidates EQ, as well as their academic qualifications and experience. Challenge To remain at the leading edge of recruitment technology and yield a better quality of candidate at assessment centre stages, our client approached us to build a video-based situational judgement test (SJT). We had to design a test that met the client s MI and security requirements and integrated with third party platforms. It was essential to accommodate those who require reasonable adjustments (additional time) along with all other candidates, within a single test. To ensure candidates were given a first-class experience, the video SJT also needed to provide an excellent user interface.
7 Solution We developed and built a bespoke testing solution to meet our client s needs. Our development team proposed a pioneering, innovative use of technology to provide candidates with an immersive test environment, while also meeting the recruitment team s critical security requirements. Access to the test was provided by a unique invitation link, allowing ease of identification and result management for individual candidates. Where candidates had reasonable adjustment requirements, we built in flexibility to allow this to be accommodated within one test. A reasonable adjustments code, securely obtained from the recruitment team and entered at the point of taking the test, adjusted the time allowance for all assessments within the online testing facility. All of this was packaged in a simple and intuitive online offering that reflected the branding of the new recruitment campaign. Benefits A higher quality of candidate will now pass through to further stages in the recruitment process. Resources will be used more effectively, and costs will be saved at the assessment centre stages. Candidates eligible for reasonable adjustments are now able to have the same online experience as all others. The leading-edge technology reinforces the client s position as a modern and innovative employer. REVIEW: CIPD HR SOFTWARE SHOW On 17th and 18th June, Kensington Olympia hosted the CIPD HR Software Show - the largest event of its kind in Europe. Engage ATS took prime position as the growing force in the ATS market. Attended by over 45 leading HR software suppliers, the show featured a range of free learning sessions and was a brilliant opportunity to network with clients. From our wonderfully designed stand (thanks to HAVAS People Marketing and Creative!) we were keen to shout about the attributes our clients love - from industry leading Reporting Functionality, to the options for system configuration in your hands and of course the fact that Engage is Built by Recruiters for Recruiters. Most importantly, we wanted clients and partners, current and future, to meet our brilliant team. Our people differentiate Engage ATS from our competitors as much as the product itself does. So we brought along some of our client services team, rather than the sort of sales team more common at industry events. As always, we wanted the experience of Engage ATS to feel authentic. We wanted future clients to meet the real people they would work with, and discover our integrity first-hand. Over the two days, we were inundated with demonstration requests from potential clients. These were all done on stand, in real time. As we hoped, the quality of the system impressed all who saw it. We are delighted to be conducting a number of in-depth follow up demonstrations. It was also great to see some familiar faces at the event, with current clients visiting the event to review the payroll and HRMS System suppliers on show (obviously not the ATS ones!).

The ability to see into the future - but not too far! WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE WORLD? Kaua i in Hawaii. We spent our honeymoon there. OKAY, SERIOUS QUESTIONS! WHAT MAKES YOUR RECRUITMENT CHALLENGING? I would have to say the geographical diversity. We are truly global. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR RECRUITMENT LANDSCAPE: VOLUME, SPECIALIST OR BOTH? Both, definitely. We range from 3,000 applications per role in Asia, to English Teachers in North Korea. DID YOU PARTNER WITH ENGAGE ATS AS A REPLACEMENT FOR AN INCUMBENT ATS, OR A NEW SYSTEM? New system. We had a legacy database within a part of the business, but the point of the move was to bring it all under one roof. WHY HAS ENGAGE ATS BEEN SUCCESSFUL AS A PARTNER FOR YOU? The system really meets the global demands. It creates a sociability and consistency across processes, and across the experience of all users. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ENGAGE ATS FUNCTIONALITY? I would have to say the Global Scheduling tool. It s made a huge difference to our teams in every country being able to build schedules effectively. Candidates can now book themselves in, without needing to think about local time. WHAT IMPACT DO YOU SEE TECHNOLOGY HAVING ON RECRUITMENT IN THE FUTURE? Over time, technology is enabling recruiters to become less reactive to business demand. Which means more time to focus on actually driving the growth agenda. Through ATS, LinkedIn and other social sites, data can be gathered and analysed so quickly these days. HOW DO YOU SEE ENGAGE ATS DEVELOPING IN THE FUTURE? I can see a move towards mobile and a streamlining of application processes, to allow candidates to apply on the move, from multiple platforms.
