1 Practical to Associate Degree Registered Nursing As of May 24, 2011 Career-Technical (Secondary and Adult Ed) and Collegiate & University Approvals Instructions: The following programs and/or courses are approved under CT2 with indicated effective dates. Institutions with effective dates of autumn 2007 received CT2 approval on or before April 23, 2009 Approved practical nursing programs at CTAE institutions (secondary and adult) with CTPNNUR001 articulation numbers can determine transferability by examining the Collegiate University approvals for nursing toward the bottom of this spreadsheet. Secondary and adult education institutions should look for CTADNUR002 articulation numbers to determine transferability. Courses for which completers of approved practical nursing programs will receive credit at institutions with CTADNUR002 articulation numbers are shown in the Courses Column. Example 1: Akron City has the following approved articulation number: CTPNNUR001. Completers of Akron's practical nursing program during or after autumn 2007 could enroll at Columbus State Community College and after acceptance into the AD nursing program receive credit for NUR 100, 110, 111, 112, 123, 132, and 133. Example 2: Belmont Technical College has the following approved articulation number: CTPNNUR001. Completers of Belmont's practical nursing program during or after autumn 2007 could enroll at Cuyahoga Community College and after acceptance into the AD nursing program receive credit for NURS 1300, 1450, and Student requirements: To receive statewide guarantee applicants must be an LPN, must gain admission to the Nursing Program, and must complete an ONAM or equivalent transition course offered by the associate degree education program.
