2 TIPS & TRICKS: SOCIAL MEDIA Spread the Word So, you want to be nominated into the Lincoln s Choice Awards. But how? It s simple, TELL EVERYONE TO NOMINATE YOU! Tell your friends, family, neighbors, clients and customers, staff; then, tell them to tell everyone they know too! With over 100 different beers to choose from, we are sure we have the best selection in town. Nominate us in the #LincolnsChoiceAwards and help us prove it! (Include Link to Nominating page here) The fastest way to gather an army of nominators is through social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter. ALWAYS include a link to the actual nominating page; this allows users to take immediate action. Post to your company Facebook page on a regular basis throughout the contest nominating period. A Facebook post only holds a lifespan of approximately 3 hours; so, posting once or twice a day is only beneficial to you. Then, encourage staff and clients to share the posts on their personal Facebook pages; this spreads the word and gains you nominations! We re competing to be named Best Hamburgers in Lincoln and we need your help to win. Nominate us in the Lincoln s Choice Awards. (Post as a Link and Include Photo) Give them a Reason When making your Facebook posts, be creative and plead your case. Give people a reason to nominate you the Top of the Town with facts about your company. If you really do have the largest beer selection in Lincoln, then let your users know that!
