3 MAIN FUNCTIONS The database The integrated database, common to all Zucchetti HR systems, avoids errors and loss of time and manages Employee Budget specific information: information imported for payroll processing (e.g. qualifications, level, cost center, increases); information pertinent to the user (e.g. contract renewals, minimum wage modifications, etc.) information related to tables, archives, etc., to setup contractual and contribution data; information related to calculation rules to setup forecast development criteria. Calculation rules and forecast The calculation rules are the functions that allow the budget hypothesis development for the chosen year starting from input data, tables and from other decisional elements. Zucchetti BUDGET allows set up of calculation rules according to several criteria: nominal: can perform forecast by employee. It performs comparisons with actual data. This is particularly useful to determine the differences recorded by month, employee, title, etc. by average figures: allows simulations according to criteria such as: contractual agreements, seniority, age, etc. The user can define additional conditions besides the ones that are already present in the standard version of the application. 4 MAIN FUNCTIONS Budget types The data structure allows the creation of different budgets. It is possible to create budgets for specific purposes: for direction to evaluate, in advance, the financial-economical sustainability of a strategic plan as an instrument of fulfilling the company s goals; for control to monitor and verify costs, in order to correctly apply the management strategy; for coordination to measure personal or group productivity in relation to the management by objectives approach. Based on needs, the client can select the forecast elements, can shape them using different calculation criteria and can also present the results in a dynamic and modern way choosing a suitable format (print layout as HTML, PDF, text, etc.) Moreover, a module created on purpose, allows the publication of the budgets on the company Intranet (or on especially created addresses) so that all authorized and interested personnel could view them at any time. It is possible to update, at any time, the assumptions related to personnel- with actual data instead of forecasts (staff variations, internal mobility, retribution policy changes, welfare and social procedures, etc.). Therefore, EMPLOYEE BUDGET allows budget reformulation based on balance data (feed forward), the estimation of consequences upon values related to future periods (forecast) or the reconsideration of the assessing basic data (rolling).
