5 Customs / AQIS / PIA Cargo Reporting Import Declaration Duty Payment After 2005 flawed ICS implementation, EDI interface in particular works very well Import decs with tariff list databases, and EDI links to overseas suppliers / back office links to accounting & other commercial functionality Time Release Survey further industry engagement underbonds duty deferral Cargo Reporting Compliance need to identify if transhipment vessels
6 Commercial Clearance Generally working very well EIDOs improvements could be introduced through standard protocols probably the best option until all sectors are EDI capable Future initiatives i i i require establishment of user requirements
7 Liaison with importer & transport company for VBS and delivery Rail tagging Vastly improved communications via 1-Stop PBLIS to provide predictability in service delivery & eliminate waiting time detention CEF process requires at least two days free storage to co-ordinate logistics Rail tagging positive initiative requires further enhancement / EDI solution Future initiatives i i i require establishment of user requirements
