Utilizar Present Continuous nas formas afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa. Utilizar was, were, there was and there were nas formas afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa. Utilizar Past Simple na forma afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa. Fazer uso de why or because, tanto no presente como no passado; Utilizar, apropriadamente, nouns and adjectives; Empregar, corretamente, vocabulário referente à: weather, seasons, nouns and adjectives, containers, transport, space. Comparar objetos, pessoas, lugares usando às formas comparativa e superlativa. Fazer planejamentos e expressar intenções usando going to nas formas afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa; Empregar corretamente ed e ing adjectives. 3. Como estudar? Read the text. THE SIMS 2 What's happening in my neighborhood today? Well, Jack and Jennie are having lunch. Mike, their neighbor, is working - he is a teacher at the local school. Sue, Mike's wife, is having a shower at home. This sounds normal. But I'm talking about the neighborhood in my Sims 2 game so these people aren't real! In The Sims 2, you can build houses, streets and neighborhoods. You can also create imaginary people and families. You can choose their faces and bodies and give them names and personalities. Your virtual people go to work. They have a swim at the local pool or relax at home. They have parties and go out at night. Babies grow up; adults get old and die. You control their lives but this can be difficult. Characters get unhappy when you make a bad decision. The world of The Sims is great fun because it is very realistic. The clocks in the houses show the real time and characters watch real programs on television. When two people play chess, they move the pieces in a real game. And when you click on their heads, you can see what they are thinking and feeling! She dives down to nearly 100 meters under the sea and comes back in one breath, because she doesn t use any breathing equipment. In 2009 she went deeper than any other woman ever to break the record for freediving. At the deepest blue hole in the world (202 meters), near Long Island, she reached 96 meters without help from weights or airbags. It took her 3 minutes and 96 seconds. Sara surprised everyone in 2007 when she broke three world records in 48 hours while she was still new to free-diving she started the sport only the year before! The death of her mother stopped Sara from competing in 2008, and the Russian competitor Natalia Molchanova broke Sara s record. 9

10 My mother died ten days before I was going to try for two more world records. I was with her when she died and one of the last things she said to me was Go back out there and get those records, Sara said. Sara is also known as Mighty Mouse because of her height. She may be short, but her lungs are 25 per cent larger than an average person of her size, so she can get more oxygen into her body before she goes down.
