14 Why use Surveys? Visualize all of the relevant information items you need. Surveys are a sampling, partial collection of facts, figures or opinions gathered. Survey responses are used to approximate or indicate what a complete collection and analysis might reveal. A survey is a systematic snapshot used to infer for a larger whole.
