5 Case Study Waterloo Station We selected Streetsure to supply and install the Double Decker Cycle parking solution at Waterloo Station, due to their fast response to our enquiry, free design and effective space planning, very reasonable pricing and high quality products. Quantity Surveyor, Osborne Rail When we pitched our idea to create 322 new cycle spaces at London Waterloo Train Station, Network rail were delighted to award Streetsure with this much coveted contract. Our proposal included a detailed site specification, which was drawn up in 2 days, and our capacity optimizing double decker parking system. Our site installation increased cycle spaces at Britain s busiest station from 212 to 534. This latest government investment in Cycle Parking is a sign of increased demand for cycle parking solutions in urban areas, in particular station parking as the government promote the issue of 'point to point' commuting. Streetsure managed the whole project at Waterloo, from design right through to post contract maintenance.
