1 UNIVERSITY OF RHODE ISLAND MBA PROGRAMS : Step by Step Guide to Apply Online (Note- you do not have to submit the application all in one sitting. You are able to save and come back another time to finish and submit) Step 1 : Click at the bottom of the screen It will take you to the following page Step 2: Click on Create Account where you will fill out the Basic and Login Information and then hit Submit Information.

2 Step 3: Click on Start Application Step 4: Start filling out the Personal Data then Save & Continue (Note- the left hand side of the page will show you all the sections you will need to complete)

3 Step 5: Next fill out the Program Information section Choose College of Business Administration under College Choose the Program requested: part time MBA, full time MBA, Prov Metro(for those who live in approved MA towns going into part time MBA), MSA, MSF. The system will then populate the next two sections automatically. Choose Enrollment Term - the semester you are applying to

4 Step 6: Next fill out the Academic Information section Please list all College/Universities that you have attended. Hit Save & Continue

5 Step 7: Next fill out the Testing Information section Please list when you took the test or when your testing date will be. International students must take the TOEFL or IELTS unless you graduated from a US institution or a program in a country where English is the official language.

6 Step 8: Next fill out the Additional Information section Note: in the section on residency below, RI residency is for those who have lived in RI for at least a year and applies to all MBA programs. Regional Residency (also known as Providence Metro) is for the Evening MBA only and you must be from one the Massachusetts towns listed at Are you claiming Rhode Island Residency?* Are you claiming Rhode Island Residency?* Yes No Information regarding required proof of RI residency can be found at Are you claiming Regional Residency?* (see our website for qualifying programs)

7 Step 9: Next fill out the Transcript and Uploads section This section will ask you to upload a Personal Statement, Transcript(s), and Additional Documentation. Official transcripts are required from all institutions attended, and must be sent directly from the institution to the URI Graduate Admissions Office. You will not need to request an official be sent if you are a URI graduate. Under Additional Documentation, please upload your resume. You may also want to upload a copy of your GMAT/GRE and TOEFL/IELTS for international candidates, if you have that on hand. Original test scores must be sent to URI directly from the testing organization as well. The system will not let you submit the application without uploading a Personal Statement and Transcript.

8 Step 10: Next fill out the Recommendations section You will be asked to provide the name, phone number, and address of two people who will act as recommenders. You can ask any two people to supply recommendations most typical are managers, co-workers, professors, coaches, etc. They will immediately receive an asking them to access a website and answer a series of questions (rating academic achievements and personal characteristics they can always pass on a question if they don t have knowledge of that area) and then will either upload a letter of recommendation or type it in. Please let them know the notification s will indicate University of Rhode Island as the sender but will come from support@hobsons.com. If your recommenders use a spam-blocking tool, please ask them to add this address to their list of knows/safe addresses.

9 Step 11: Next fill out the Downloadable Forms if you are asking for RI or Providence Metro Residency The certificate of residency must be mailed to the Graduate Admissions Office, Quinn Hall room 204, 55 Lower College Rd, Kingston RI (no faxes or s allowed) If admitted, you will not be able to register for classes until this form is in. Final Step- Once you have filled out all the sections of the application, hit Submit to complete your application.
