9 AT&T Platform as a Service - Application Templates Introduction AT&T Platform as a Service comes with over 40 application templates that can get you up and running within minutes of installing. Each application template comes fully functional, ready to take on your business challenges. Or, an application template may form the basis for a larger project that you tailor to meet your business needs. Enhance or use it as delivered; it s up to you! Take some time and read over the included applications. You get a breakout of the object names, object descriptions and relationships amongst the objects, the application workflows (where applicable), and reports included with each application template. Use this information to assess whether one of these application templates is a good match to your application requirements. 1. Support Case Manager 1.1. Introduction The Support Case Manager lets you securely and easily track and maintain customer service requests, in the form of Support Cases. This application comes with internal notification options and customizable ticket-escalation policies. Plus, you can quickly integrate an easy-to-use self-service help desk for your customers into your website using a single line of HTML code. With Office Space, collaboration has never been easier. Office Space breaks through your cubicle walls, bridges your remote workforce, and reduces your reliance on as a means of internal information exchange. Introduction Maintain financial and service information on your PCs, servers, and mobile phones including configuration data, warranties, retired asset information, and vendor lease contracts. The application not only helps to track hardware also software assets. Asset Tracker includes asset views for both finance and IT on a shared database. Introduction The Sales Force Automation is the Central application for sales teams to track progress and share customer information including contact management, account and prospect management, opportunity reporting, and a 30-second sales activity logger to streamline accurate reporting of sales calls. Object Name Description Contract Contact Product Opportunity Prospect Price Book Accounts Contract terms, customer approval, internal approver information is stored here. Contact name, title, address, and phone info stored here. Each product belongs to its own category like software, service, media or networking. The products are defined and stored. The sale or pending deal on a product is considered as opportunity and those are defined and stored in this database table. The potential customers are defined and stored in this database table. Price book contains the list of products in which the organization sells. Define the price book which should be visible to specific teams are defined in this database table. 21 6. Expense Management 6.1. Introduction This application helps to track and automate approvals for employee expense reports. Purpose of this application is finally to go paperless. Employees can add attachments to store receipts and create custom validation and rules to limit the types of expenses. 24 7.3. Workflows PTO Workflow: The newly created PTO has to send for the manager s approval. On rejection the PTO goes to start state for the correction. On Approval it comes to end and ready for applying employee PTO.

34 13. Timesheet Manager Introduction The Timesheet Manager lets you track hours for each employee using weekly timesheets. This includes various field types, workflow, reporting, and more. Timesheets also have a workflow so managers can approve or reject employee cards. The Employee Rate Table is used for calculating hourly rates for each employee. Approved Timesheet Payments: This Pie Chart report shows the total amount of payments for all the approved timesheets. Total Hours by Employee: This Bar Chart report shows the details of the Employee hours clocked vs. Total Hours for the month. Total Hours by Employee: This report shows the details of the Weekly Total of Timesheet Payroll Workflow This is the Timesheet Approval workflow. The new timesheet submitted to Manager s Approval. Once it approved, the timesheet sent for Finance Manager s Approval. If a timesheet rejected, then it moved to the rejected stage. On getting both the approval, the timesheet is ready for timesheet payroll processing.

37 14. Thing Manager Introduction The Thing Manager is a showcase app for demonstrating a variety of functionality within the platform. This includes various field types, workflow, reporting, and more. To fully explore the app and how it s put together, click on the Things or Sub-Things items in the Workspace and go to customize the object. Inventory Management Introduction The Inventory Management application provides you with a central database for keeping track of important items at a variety of locations (including down to the storage location). It also provides you with complete tracking of manufacturer information, as well as how to re-order items. By monitoring transactions, you can also move inventory from one location to another, for example from a warehouse to a final destination. With some customization, you can also pair this app with an order management app to fulfill other processes, or simply use it to track inventory assets. Items can include photos for easier reference. A built in mapping widget displays locations on a map. You can also include photos from properties and track and contact buyers and sellers directly within this app. When properties are sold or move through the selling process, data policies provide updates via to specific parties involved. Health Record Manager Introduction The Health Record Manager application is built for the healthcare industry and allows tracking Doctors within any given area and the Patients associated with those Doctors. From the Patient record you can quickly see the latest immunization, medical conditions, and allergies. Medications and medical visit a patient has undergone. You can easily expand this app to include insurance information or to isolate data from specific people to meet HIPAA compliance requirements. 112 47. Mobility Enablers Toolkit Introduction Welcome to AT&T Mobility Enablers Toolkit. The purpose of the toolkit is to demonstrate the Mobility Enablers usage within PaaS. The toolkit contains various elements of PaaS, such as, Components, Pages, policy action Java methods, Java controller classes. It also includes the SMS Receiver Site. Mobility Enablers available: AT&T Global Smart Messaging Suit (GSMS) powered by Soprano AT&T Location Information Services (LIS) powered by LocAid In order to take advantage of the toolkit the accounts need to be setup for each service. Please visit the AT&T site for more information about opening accounts. If you have GSMS and LIS accounts open already, they can be re-used. Upon installation, make sure the following steps are taking: Create a new user, e.g. SMSReceiverUser. It can be done under Settings->Administration->Users. Select 'My Team' as a primary team and 'SMS Receiver Role' as a role in the team. Setup SMSReceiverUser as a user to be used for unauthenticated site access. It can be done under Designer->Logic->Sites->SMSReceiverSite. Edit the site and select the created user as 'Login As User for Unauthenticated Access'. Objects and Functionality: GSMS Setup is an object containing GSMS configuration. The configuration includes the service URL, user, password, and a company short code. Optionally, GSMS Receiver URL can be configured. The URL can be found under Designer->Logic->Sites->SMS Receiver Site. Choose the "Default Secure Web Address". GSMS Overview demonstrates different ways of adding GSMS commands to the object. That includes Actions and Data Policies. Actions are exposed as single or multi-selection buttons. Data policies are attached to the add/edit operations on the record and can be activated by selecting the corresponding to a command checkbox. The URL to GSMS Receiver site is passed with each SMS text message and is used to receive SMS replies on PaaS. LocAid Setup is an object containing LIS configuration. The configuration includes the service URLs, user's login, password, and an application class ID. LocAid Overview demonstrates different ways of adding LIS functionality to the object. 114 48. Mobility Enabled Service Dispatcher Introduction The Service Dispatcher manages your service requests and the agents that execute the work. To monitor the service agents, the application takes advantage of AT&T Location Information Services. This way you know exactly where your agents are at any moment. And, once a new service request added, it can be assigned to the closest agent for the execution. You can manage your agents and service request by clicking on the workspace area links to the left.
