6 HG SERIES Innovative Top technology All HMC steam sterilizers are produced in modern manufacturing facilities using state of the art technology and are TÜV certified. All devices meet the EC Pressure Equipment Directive and the current European regulations and bear the CE label. Twice as safe The locking system is coupled with a pressure and temperature monitoring system. Sensors monitor the lid state. Unintended opening under pressure not possible by design. The opening temperature (important for liquid sterilization) can be preset to between C (temperature dependend lid opening). No electronics and no moving parts in the lid, therefore reliable and trouble-free. Maximum service life! 7 HMC HMC Illuminated display The clear, bright membrane display shows all important parameters at a glance and is self-explanatory. Simple menu navigation allows adaptations for customized program. 12 programs are available, divided into 4 groups with 3 sub-groups each. The optimum for each load. 9 HMC HMC The HG series: Sophisticated functionality The HG series devices are divided into working capacities of 50/80/113/133 litres and set standards with regard to comfort and safety. The user will be pleased by the extremely simple operation using the self-explanatory membrane keyboard with LED program display. The locking systems for both series consist of a motorized lid and an innovative locking system. The lid opens at the push of a button: first it only opens a safe gap in order to relieve the remaining pressure, then automatically and finally all the way. Unintended opening is impossible. The user is protected against escaping steam. Starting the program as well as opening and closing of the autoclave chamber are triggered via a single key. The lid is lowered gently and locked automatically. The program starts automatically. The lock operating principles HG 50/80 The V-seal gasket is activated by pressure. It is embedded in the edge of the lid, and swivelled up and out of the way upon opening to protect it against damage during loading and unloading. HG/HGS/HGD 113/133 The double V-seal gasket seals equally well against vacuum and pressure. It is embedded flush in the edge of the chamber and therefore protected against damage during loading and unloading. The seals for both types can be replaced by the user themselves in just a few minutes. 9

11 HGD Fast and safe! The HGD devices are equipped with the most effective vacuum pump. 2 pre-vacuum cycles are sufficient to remove all air and let steam penetrate. This saves time and guarantees the highest level of effectiveness. The duration of the drying phase with fractionated vacuum is adjustable and can therefore be matched individually to the load characteristics. 22 HV Thermolock with sterilization time control The German ordinance on pressure vessels TRB 402 and DIN EN prescribe a thermolock for the sterilization of liquids. This thermolock prevents injuries do the operating personnel due to boiling delay. This hazard should be controlled directly in the substance at risk for boiling delay. The lid can only be opened once the media temperature has also dropped below the reference value after pressure equalization. All parameters can be set individually before starting the program, and cannot be modified after program start for safety reasons. Reliable sterilization is ensured in this manner. During the venting phase, the steam displaces unsterilized residual air from the chamber and passes it through a filter system. The surrounding air is protected against contamination as the cycle is running. Naturally, in-line sterilization of the exhaust air filter is performed. Due to the design, condensate sterilization is a matter of course. Any condensate which precipitates flows back into the chamber and gets sterilized. Discharge can be done safely. 22

The chambers are made from polished, high-grade stainless steel. Depending on the device type, the microprocess control provides fully automated and monitored program execution. Various sterilization temperatures and sterilization times are available or can be entered. Which sterilizer is best suited to your application should be determined during a consulting meeting. A B-series sterilizer is suitable for the safe sterilization of all instruments in a clinic, insofar as they are thermally resistent and suitable for sterilization. B-series sterilizers operate with a fractionated pre-vacuum. Repeated removal of air from the sterilization chamber before the actual sterilization process allows the steam to unfold a sterilizing effect through packages and in hollow parts. (hollow parts, packaged items to be sterilized, fabrics). An S-series sterilizer is only suitable for the sterilizing of instruments which are appropriate on account of their simple nature. You can configure all programs with the LCD panel and the navigation keys, minimizing the keys on the control panel and providing clarity. The autoclave offers both preset programs at 121 C and 134 C as well as customized temperatures (105 to 135 C) and sterilization times. Additional features include pre-installed special programs such as a prion program and leak tightness, helix, and Bowie-Dick test programs.
