Information will be gathered through the following sources: Your previously completed qualifications relating to children s services; Your previously completed qualifications not relating to children s services; Completion of inservice training, workshops, on the job training and similar which have provided you with skills and knowledge; Assessments of the day to day skills you demonstrate as a requirement of your current or previous employment; Assessments of skills and knowledge gained through your interests, hobbies and/or other areas Skills and knowledge obtained through other sources. Please use this booklet as a guide to providing evidence. If there is evidence you feel is appropriate to demonstrating your competency but it is not asked for, please submit these details as well. In order for you to do this, please thoroughly list the units of competency we are looking for evidence against included on the following page. How will this document be used by ACCCO? An ACCCO trainer/assessor will compare the evidence submitted and compare this with the requirements of the CHC50908 Diploma of Children s Services (early childhood education and care). Where there are gaps in skills and/or knowledge, ACCCO will provide you with the opportunity to submit further evidence for assessment.
