3 1. Quality management process A Quality Management Process (QMP) is an one of the methods by which the quality of the ETEROB Project results and deliverables is controlled and assured. Quality manager uses review techniques to assess the level of quality of each document and result as well as suggests and implements a set of actions to raise the level of quality where it is necessary to do. QMP is undertaken during the time when deliverables and results are produced and it is terminated when all the deliverables have been completed the last phase of the Project realization period. The quality of the final product (the entire Course, both e-learning modules and face-to-face part) will be assessed by course participants/students at the final stage of pilot training performed by each partner. Special assessment questionnaire will be prepared for this purpose. Ex-ante questionnaire will be completed by each partner during the initial phase of the Project. This questionnaire allows the identification of possible future problems that may arise during the execution phase of the ETEROB Project. The conclusions will be showed in the Ex-ante summary report. 2. Quality management roles 1. Quality Manager The main role of the Quality Manager is to ensure that obtained deliverables and results have a specified level of quality. He is responsible for: - ensuring that quality targets are defined; - implementing quality assurance methods; - preparing appropriate control questionnaires; - identifying any deviations from quality targets; - implementing improvement actions (if necessary); - reporting the quality status to the Project Manager. 2. Quality Reviewer The most important role of Quality Reviewer is identification of actual level of quality associated with all documents and deliverables produced during Project realization phase. The Quality Reviewer may be internal (appointed by each partner) or external to the Project (outsourcing service). He is responsible for: - reviewing the quality of documents and deliverables; - reporting the level of quality achieved to the Quality Manager; - suggesting any improvement actions to the Quality Manager. 3

4 3. Quality control procedure Quality management procedure is used for control of the quality of main deliverables, documents and processes during the execution phase of the project at chosen periods of time. Special checklist is prepared and it will be used for control of documents delivered by each partner that will be used as a base for assessment of the quality of work that will be done. Quality control process will implement appropriate actions to check quality level and make improvement, if it will be necessary and will be terminated when all deliverables will be achieved, at the closure phase of the project. The quality targets are defined in the ETEROB quality checklist sheet. The quality control techniques used in the project will be as follows: Technique Description Frequency Each partner is responsible for all project deliverables. Partners must review, on delivery, deliverables Partner previously assigned to each partner and document review them in the document control tables. Quality manager on delivery reviews the documents and project progress every six months. Partner report Reports must be requested from the work package leader. at the end of each WP Quality manager is responsible for implementing quality assurance and control techniques to assure the quality of the deliverables, identifying deviations from quality standards and implementing improvement action if it will be necessary, recording the level of quality and reporting quality status associated with the deliverables to the project manager and notifies any deviations from the quality targets. 4
