This integrated software system provides all the features required to manage your stone and tile business and is packaged as a single software product into various modules. The system is operable from desktops, laptops, Tablet PCs or hand held PDA devices, hand held BARCODE scanners and now CELLPHONES too. 56 CONSIGNMENT LOCATION MODULE SPS allows you to transfer materials to any consignment locations/customers you may have. Consignment locations are locations where the physical premises belong to a customer or partner in business but the inventory stored at that location belongs to your company. SPS allows all consignment locations to be a customer before they are changed to a consignment location. 69 System Requirements EXPORTING DATA Stone Profit Systems exports data from all lists in EXCEL format. To open the exported reports you need Microsoft Excel running at the client to open the excel file DATA BACKUP Data backup is generated by Microsoft SQL server Enterprise Manager. All SPS managed systems should be installed with MS SQL Enterprise Manager. PRINTING Any regular Laser / Ink jet printers that are browser based work with Stone Profit System. No specific drivers are needed except for Zebra TLP series printers where drivers from should be installed. REPORTING SPS comes with its own proprietary Reporting engine. SPS data is stored on MS SQL server which is compatible with Crystal Reports. Any third reporting tool that is compatible with SQL server is compatible with SPS. BARCODING SPS is compatible with the code of 128 barcodes. SPS has its own proprietary engine to generate barcode labels. But any barcode generating software capable of code of 128 barcodes shall also be compatible with the SPS. SECURITY SPS uses IP-Based Security? IP-Based security allows customers to control who can access and/or who gets blocked from NOTE: IP-Based Security is available as a service upgrade option on all services except for CommunityZero.com. How Does it Work? Every computer connected to the Internet, end user PCs and servers alike, has a unique "Internet Protocol" (IP) address similar to a phone number. Users who have not been explicitly granted access will simply see a generic page explaining that access has not been granted. A form is provided on that page so they may request access by . The customer s identity is never revealed unless it is apparent in the domain name being attempted. How do I Control Who Gets Access? 68

70 System Requirements If IP-Based Security is activated, two options are provided in the administration area. The first provides a method of listing IP addresses, or address ranges, that should be granted access. The second option allows the blocking of one or more unwanted IP addresses. Both allow and block options can be used together thereby allowing specific IP addresses to be blocked within a range of allowed addresses. IP-Based Security settings also control access to the site administration area. This allows all aspects of the Stone Profit Systems to be protected. If desired, even SPS support staff can be completely barred from accessing the hosted site. Who should use IP-Security? IP-Based Security is ideal for users that access the Internet from office networks, as they generally make use of static or unchanging IP addresses. Users dialing into the Internet are generally assigned a temporary IP addresses from their Internet Service Provider (ISP) - this means their IP address changes every time they connect to the Internet. IP-Based Security is therefore only a viable solution if all users of the site will be using static IP addresses. Static IP addresses can be purchased for dial-up connections and are generally standard in office networks (i.e. the office may share an IP on the Internet but it is static). Please contact your ISP or network manager for details or call our support team for assistance. 69

71 Data Migration The Data Migration is done in 3 phases. Phase 1: This phase involves the data migration of all the Static Data from your existing System to Stone Profits. This Phase includes migration of the following data o Customers list o Suppliers list o Vendors list o Chart of Accounts o Default Effected Chart of Accounts Accounting Defaults o Material/Item Master - List of Colors Phase 2: This phase involves the data migration of all the Dynamic/Accounting Data from your existing System to Stone Profits. This phase includes migration of the following data o Inventory Detail o Open Aged Receivable o Open Aged Payable Phase 3: This phase involves closing the General Ledger Trial Balance. Most of your data migration is done by the Stone Profits team for you. Data is expected in excel or CSV format but you need Stone Profits to data enter the data you can mail / fax the hardcopies of the data and Stone Profits shall migration all that information for you. 70

72 Support Options Stone Profits provides ongoing assistance and future releases under either a fixed-price, annual maintenance agreement or on an hourly basis. You can choose whatever approach would be most cost-effective for your organization. Annual Contracts The Annual Contracts Subscriptions include the following: PRODUCT UPGRADES New Functionality, report changes and feature enhancements are added to all our Stone Profit Systems Products from time to time. For eg. Now you can access all the Stone profits information such as inventory, customer account look up etc. via cell phones which is possible using the cell phone access module which was added as a new function. SYSTEM UPDGRADES TRAINING UNLIMITED PHONE SUPPORT System upgrades or Patches are various periodic upgrades to your stone profits system to be more compatible with the other related software and hardware involved such as Web Browsers, Database Servers, Operating Systems and New Hardware such as Phones and Barcode Scanners. Whenever there is an upgrade in the database server i.e SQL server SPS gets an upgrade. Whenever there is an upgrade in the Internet Explorer Version, SPS gets an upgrade to be compatible with it. Whenever new related Hardware such as the Iphone or a new Motorola Barcode Scanner hits the market SPS gets an upgrade to be compatible with it. SPS provides Onsite Training at the Customers Location. Additional training at the SPS office in Chicago or elsewhere is available. Customers can also take advantage of our Online Web Based Training. People will learn more if they are self assured and they are confident they will have the resources available to assist them do what they have to do better. SPS Technical Support is no ordinary tech support line that you call only when there is a problem. It's business support that you can call whenever you want to know how your SPS software can work even harder for you.
