2 MEMBERSHIP POLICY JOINING FEE The following options are available for public membership MEMBERSHIP 10 years 20 years 30 years JOINING FEE 700,000+ 1,000,000+ 1,300,000+ Joining fee is not inclusive of VAT Annual membership subscriptions must also be paid in full before member s privileges are activated at the golf club. Members are entitled to either 1 (one) single or 1 (one) family membership The application form must be completed together with applicable annual subscription payment to Banyan Golf Club, Hua Hin. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONS Choose from either single or family golf membership categories as below category SINGLE: RENEWALS THB 25,000.- Single adult FAMILY: THB 40,000.- Two adults (spouse / partner) including all children under 21-years of age The annual subscription fee is not inclusive of VAT, caddie fee and cart fee. Annual subscriptions are required to be paid in full during the month of January of each consecutive year. Membership subscription payments not received on time will result in management reserving the right to suspend the membership until January of the subsequent year. 4MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION Please complete our enclosed membership application form Attach 2 x passport photographs of each nominee so we can prepare your identification card. Annual membership subscriptions must be paid in full with a completed application form. Payment options include bank transfer, credit card or cash payment direct to the Golf Club. On receipt of your completed application and payment we will issue you a receipt and a member s information pack, which will include your personal membership card, golf bag tag and an invitation for a cocktail to meet with the Club s management team. MEMBERSHIP POLICY Membership applications are subject to interview by the club management Joining fees must be paid in full before the membership is activated The annual maintenance fee payment is due in the month of January each year and will be calculated pro rata when joining. Annual maintenance fees are not refundable. Family membership is available for two adults (spouse/partner) and children under the age of 21-years old. Members are required to pay caddie fee for each round of golf, golf carts are optional at the rates displayed in the Pro Shop. In the event of needing to transfer a membership to to another family member due to illness, injury or death of the registered member then the duration of the term can be handed over and there is no transfer fee applicable. Public membership may be transfered to another person based on the condition that the applicat is introduced to the management beforehand and an interview has been conducted. Management reserves the right without prejudice to reject the transfer of membership without obligation to explain the reason for refusal to grant the membership. If management accepts the transfer of membership to another person then a transfer fee of THB 15,000.- applies. In the event that management refuses the transfer to another person and the member wishes to cancel their membership, the club will reimburse the joining fee paid calculated pro rata.

4 LOCAL RULES DRESS CODE DRESS CODE CLUBHOUSE Members and guests are respectfully requested to shower after their game of golf before utilizing the food & beverage outlets. Golf or smart casual attire is required at all times. IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE QUALITY STANDARDS OF BANYAN GOLF CLUB, HUA HIN, WE ENCOURAGE OUR MEMBERS TO ACT AS AMBASSADORS OF THIS WONDERFUL FACILITY TO ENSURE OF THE FOLLOWING: LOCAL RULES R&A rules shall govern all play except where modified by local rules. Yardage is provided to the centre of the green (subtract 10% to convert to meters), distance markers are measured to the pin. Out of bounds is defined by white stakes. Lateral water hazards are defined by red stakes. Pineapple plantations Pineapple plantations and red grass areas are to be treated as lateral water hazards. Entering these areas is done at our own risk and it should be noted that pineapple plants have sharp edges. Obstructions relief without penalty (rule 24) Relief: A player can drop within one club length through the green if the ball lies in a drainage cover, valve box, sprinkler head, staked or protected tree and any part of the cart path. Ground under repair Areas defined by white lines where relief may be taken under rule 25-1 PACE OF PLAY To assist with the pace of play please allow faster groups through and keep in touch with the group in front. Proper golf attire is required on the golf course and in practice areas. Please cooperate with our marshal s requests, especially with golf carts. CADDIES Members can request a caddie through the Pro Shop when making a golf reservation and is subject to the caddie s availability on the day. Caddie gratuities are discretionary between THB and THB per round payable directly to the caddie after your golf round. GOLF COURSE, DRIVING RANGE AND PRACTICE GREENS Banyan Golf Club will enforce a dress code on the Golf Course, driving ranges and practice greens. Failure to dress appropriately in respect of the golf etiquette will result in you being asked to leave the area. a) Gentlemen Tailored trousers or shorts are required; T-shirt with collar and sleeves, or the new round neck quick dry golf shirts are required and must be worn inside trousers or shorts. The following are not acceptable. 7 MEMBERSHIP RULES AND REGULATIONS Terms and conditions apply for each membership category as follows ELIGIBILITY AND VALIDITY Applications will only be accepted in conjunction with the names provided within the application form. Should your circumstances change we kindly request you notify the club management in writing, such as change of address or transferring of the membership to another person. Annual membership subscriptions will notbe frozen for any period of time. Any grievances concerning the club s operation is to be brought to the attention of the Golf Club s Management. The management reserves the right to refuse admission to the golf course, revoke or suspend membership for member violations which are of unreasonable behavior, breach of contract terms, golf club or Banyan Thailand rules and regulations. The company reserves the right to change rates, terms and conditions without prior notice. The management reserves the right to refuse an application for initial or renewed membership and shall be under no obligation to explain the reason for any refusal to grant a membership. MEMBERS IDENTIFICATION Please carry your membership ID card at all times and issue it to staff members at each facility to warrant your privileges. GOLF RESERVATIONS Members are entitled to book tee times up to a maximum of 10-days in advance through on line reservations, either in person in the pro shop from 8.00 a.m. onwards, by telephone or until 6.00 p.m. Members may book further in advance when required through the golf office and the Banyan Golf Experience rate will apply. Members are entitled to bring up to three (3) guests and charge members guest rate per person. Members must be present and play in the same flight as their guests to qualify their guests to pay the advertised member s guest rate. Member s golf tournaments may be signed up for online or in person at the club. Entry fee will vary based on the event. No Show & Late (on the day) cancellation policy applies to all mebers No show offences will result in a written reminder from the Club s management Subsequent offences after such a warning will be charged full price A member who reserves a 4-ball under his/ her name will be responsible for all four slots and will be charged for any of those slots not used at full price per person. You may contact one of the Club manager on the day should one of the the slots become unavailable due to uncontrollable circumstances. The Golf Club will maintain a record of all no shows and cancellations and the management will reserve the right to take action against repeat offenders which may result into terminating membership. It is the responsibility of every member to ensure that reserved tee times are taken up or cancelled in a timely manner of at least 2-hours prior to playing. CART FEES / CADDIE FEES/ PRACTICE RANGE Members have the option to hire a golf cart. The golf club will provide a pull trolley for all walking customers without compensation. Caddy fees are not included in themembership and will be payable in the Pro Shop each round played. The driving range is quite a narrow facility and for the safety of those playing the golf course we kindly request users to practice using their irons only. Range balls can be purchased in advance at the pro shop LOCKER & BAG STORAGE Lockers are allocated on your arrival at the reception. Golf bag storage is available at THB 8,000.- per 1 golf bag per annum. Golf bag storage is subject to availability. Golf bags and contents are left at the own risk of the member. Banyan Golf Club, Hua Hin will not be responsible for any loss, damage or theft. CLUB SUITES Members will be provided a preferred room rate to use the Golf Club s exclusive guest accommodation.
