Interns receive training and mentorship and are involved in work assignments that motivate and challenge them to develop skills and sharpen performance in a corporate atmosphere. Students must have completed four semesters at a college or university, have a 3.2 GPA or higher and have a designated concentration in accounting, finance, economics or business. AFFINITY GROUPS has three affinity groups and three employee networks. Gay, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgenders and Allies at (GLAM): The purpose of the Gay, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgenders and Allies at (GLAM) affinity group is to raise awareness of the GLBT community and discuss ways to ensure a welcoming environment in the workplace. GLAM sponsors events for associates including Lunch and Learn sessions that engage speakers from national nonprofit organizations such as Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, to discuss ways to further support GLBT associates.
