3 good To know before entering szigetfestival, the island of freedom ABOUT THE ENTRANCE SZIGET WEEKLY PASS (WITH CAMPING): With Sziget Weekly Pass you are allowed to enter Sziget, The Island of Freedom, from day -1, August 5th, Monday 14:00. You are entitled to bring a tent with yourself and use the designated camping areas and showers. SZIGET 5 DAYS PASS (WITH- OUT CAMPING): With the Sziget 5 Days Pass you are allowed to enter Sziget, The Island of Freedom, from August 7th, Wednesday 06:00. You are not entitled to bring a tent with yourself and use the designated camping areas and showers. SZIGET DAY TICKET: The Sziget Day Tickets are valid from 06:00 of the given day until 08:00 of the next day. With this ticket you are entitled to enter the festival between 06:00 of the given day and 05:00 of the next. You must leave by 08:00 of the next day. If you purchase a minimum of two consecutive Sziget Day Tickets, you are allowed to use all services pertaining to the previously mentioned camping ticket. WHAT NOT TO BRING You are not allowed to bring any glass objects. You will be searched at the entrance for any items that may be used in an illegal or offensive manner, including umbrellas, knives, anything that may be used as a hitting utensil which will be confiscated. According to the law, you are not allowed to possess certain items that are highly dangerous to public safety (knife with a blade longer than 8cm, switchknife, gas spray, cosh/loaded stick), this is an offense against the law. IMPORTANT: You are not allowed to bring liquor or any alcoholic beverage into the festival area. You are allowed however to bring a single plastic bottle of alcohol-free drink, a maximum of two cartons of cigarettes, and provisions in quantities for personal use only. The previously mentioned goods must be given to the security personnel at the entrance for check-up. WHO CAN YOU ASK IN CASE YOU NEED HELP? FIRST AID The Helper Association s first aid patrol will aid your health. If in need, don t be afraid to approach them or the medical personal on duty in the First Aid Center. TAXI Following the tradition of previous years, you are able to travel with fixed taxi fees. Look for the dispatcher at the parking lot! Juventus radio Sziget BOAT SERVICE On August 5th 6th, between 16:00 and 22:00, and August 7th 11th, between and of the next day, Sziget boats will be travelling every half-hour on the following two lines: Between Sziget Jászai Mari tér and between Sziget Petőfi tér Batthyány tér Sziget (depending on river traffic, the route may change to Sziget Batthyány tér Petőfi tér Sziget). SZIGET AIRPORT Special Transfer Line Between August 3rd and 7th from 8:45 to 00:30 shuttles will depart every halfhour from Liszt Ferenc Airport to Sziget (Auchan parking lot). On August 12th, shuttles will depart every minutes, later on minutes from Sziget (Auchan parking lot) to Liszt Ferenc Airport 2 between 3.00 and APPs Dear Szitizen!
