SICMA joined Zodiac Aerospace in SICMA Aero Seat becomes Zodiac Seats France in Its capital changes to In 2011/12, Zodiac Seats branch is created to generate synergies & integrations (package solutions). In 2010, launching of our Dragonfly, the lightest Y/C seat on the current market. ZSFR participates to the B787 development in collaboration with ANA on B/C seats. 25 A PULL PRODUCTION SYSTEM Economy Class 3 traditional Y/C assembly line 1 shipset 1 line 1 IAT line In March 2014, 1 automatized "moving line" (200 pax /day) Before Business Class 2 assembly lines for traditional B/C 2 semi-automatized business class seats assembly lines. 9 people work on these lines and the objective is 18 seats/day. To compare, a traditional line employs 12 operators to produce 9 seats/day. These technological evolutions allow optimizing After Kitting cart for one seat and supplied on demand Takt time and management with and on screen Security and health of employees : no lifting Resources : no waste of time & lower labor costs Efficiency : employees work on 3D procedure (optimized training & less errors) Surface : gain of 30% FRANCE Rev October
