COURT ORDER: To approve order authorizing the Public Information Officer position to be underfilled as a Corporal rank in the Sheriff's Department. 19. COURT ORDER: To approve order authorizing the creation of a District Attorney Investigator I position and a Protective Order Case Worker position from grant funds in the existing grant entitled, "Grants to Encourage Arrest Policies and Enforcement of Protective Orders" and authorizing Dallas County Human Resources Management/ Civil Service to grade and establish these positions in accordance with Dallas County policy.

COURT ORDER: To approve order authorizing the submission of a grant proposal to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for a Safe and Sober grant for FY 2003 in the amount of $191,725, with a County match of $191,032, and authorizing the County Judge to sign the grant request on behalf of Dallas County. 21. COURT ORDER: To approve order approving the Sheriff's request to install two (2) signs at the West Tower Jail and award the installation services to Hightech Signs. 22. COURT ORDER: To approve order authorizing the Sheriff's Department to assign a surplus transfer van, FB 347 (1998 Ford E-350 passenger van) from the Fugitive Section (Dept. 3131) to the North Tower (Dept. 3141) for use by the Special Response Team (SRT) and to equip it with appropriate department and jail radios. 23.
