COURT ORDER: To approve order authorizing submission of a grant application to the Governor's Office, Criminal Justice Division, Texas Narcotics Control Program, in the amount of $140,809, with a County cash match of $46,938, to provide funding for the operational costs of the DIVERT Court, and authorizing the County Judge to sign all related documentation. 18. COURT ORDER: To approve order authorizing the Public Information Officer position to be underfilled as a Corporal rank in the Sheriff's Department. 19. COURT ORDER: To approve order authorizing the creation of a District Attorney Investigator I position and a Protective Order Case Worker position from grant funds in the existing grant entitled, "Grants to Encourage Arrest Policies and Enforcement of Protective Orders" and authorizing Dallas County Human Resources Management/ Civil Service to grade and establish these positions in accordance with Dallas County policy.

COURT ORDER: To approve order authorizing the submission of a grant proposal to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for a Safe and Sober grant for FY 2003 in the amount of $191,725, with a County match of $191,032, and authorizing the County Judge to sign the grant request on behalf of Dallas County. 21. COURT ORDER: To approve order approving the Sheriff's request to install two (2) signs at the West Tower Jail and award the installation services to Hightech Signs. 22. COURT ORDER: To approve order authorizing the Sheriff's Department to assign a surplus transfer van, FB 347 (1998 Ford E-350 passenger van) from the Fugitive Section (Dept. 3131) to the North Tower (Dept. 3141) for use by the Special Response Team (SRT) and to equip it with appropriate department and jail radios. 23. COURT ORDER: To approve order approving refunds to taxpayers, as listed, in amounts over $2, for erroneous or excessive tax payments. 24. COURT ORDER: To approve order approving a contract with the City of Dallas and Dallas County Health and Human Services for Dr. Karine Lancaster to serve as the designated Health Authority for the City of Dallas for the period from October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2003, and authorizing the County Judge to sign the contract document{s) on behalf of Dallas County. 25. COURT ORDER: To approve order approving a contract with the Texas Department of Health (TDH Document No ) for the period from January 1, 2002 through December 31,2002, and Attachment #01, HIV-Surveillance, and authorizing the County Judge to sign the contract on behalf of Dallas County.

COURT ORDER: To approve order approving a contract amendment with the Texas Department of Health (TDH Document No , Contract Change Notice No. 14, Attachment No. 06B) identifying the actual allocated Ryan White C.A.R.E. Act Title II funds to TDH for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) as $195,000 instead of $245,000 as indicated in Court Order No (8/7/01), and authorizing the County Judge to sign the contract amendment on behalf of Dallas County. 27. COURT ORDER: To approve order approving a Professional Services Contract with Dr. Saleem Ateek, Psy.D. to provide psychological consulting services as needed by the Dallas County Juvenile Department, and authorizing the County Judge to sign the contract on behalf of Dallas County. 28. COURT ORDER: To approve order increasing current contract (Bid No Remove and Replace Sidewalks at the Records Building Complex) with Brinkman Construction for additional necessary work in the amount of $6,000.00, thus increasing the total bid amount to $30, COURT ORDER: To approve order authorizing the County Judge to execute Change Order No.1, in a reduced amount of $70,278.00, to the contract with Village Interiors, Inc. for the Precinct No.8 Subcourthouse Foundation Repair and Additional Justice of the Peace Office Expansion, Bid No , thereby revising the total contract amount to $187, COURT ORDER: To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.1 to cooperate with the City of Carrollton in additional improvements to portions of Baxley Circle, Hood Circle, and Spring Circle for a total estimated project cost of $33,547.00, and authorizing the County Judge to execute the Supplemental Interlocal Agreement for this Type "E" road work.
