Aim for the day: Getting to know each other personally and professionally. Evoking feelings of curiosity. Creating an open atmosphere, making space for exploration and creativity. Setting a clear focus on storytelling as one of the main transfer methods Getting to know each other s names and backgrounds. A story around your name: where does it come from, what does it mean? Magic square Every participant gets a sheet of paper. In the middle she/he writes her/his name, in the four corners e.g. a place, an object, a person, a date, which is important for her/him or tells something about her/him. Afterward the participants go around and interview each other in pairs. It's the aim to talk to as many as possible therefore every pair should talk only about one aspect. My personal way to engagement Timeline each participant remind him/herself about the first moment when he or she became socially engaged. Then everybody told his/her story and pinned a small piece of paper to a timeline with marked dates.

Labeling my NGO Goal preparing the participants to present their NGO s in a short, specific and sizzling way + inspring them for future PR/branding activities. Analyzing success: NIVEA Finding images, keywords, metaphors etc for ones own NGO (individual work) Dating other NGOs Goal: every participant knows what kind of NGOs the other people work for. Very short meetings in small groups where each person gets just 2 minutes to present their NGO in a way that is short and essential, the people change groups, present their NGO in the end 4 times and can reflect whether it was becoming more easy with time to capture the essence. My NGO and it s environment Map of influence Each participant draws a map of influence to show the context of ones own NGO the other players (partners, local government, competition, target groups etc), relationships between them, scales and so on. This allows for a reflection about differences and similarities.

Aims: To get deep insight in ways that others work, to capture best practises, exchange ideas, create new solutions for one s own work. Warming up game: You're a worldchanger and I love you. The partcipants train irresistable attraction in a funny game. Reflexion poster Goal: each participant designed his own chart for noting down questions, inspirations, moments of the Day that influenced him. The charts were kept public and were hanging on a wall. The main idea was to evoke more concentration around core experiences and also to have another space for sharing insights. Black market / Otaku Black market of best and absolutely- need- to- share online tools, public intervention ideas and working methods. Crème de la crème and imagination igniting pieces were captured and shared among the group. What you ever wanted to know about...

Questionaire: Tables for Branding / Funding / Involving people / Working in rigid structures Group writes down all questions related to the given topic; table-change after minutes Exchange & discussion of the questionaire: sharing knowledge and experiences, best/worst practices, examples (moderated discussion in order to catch a cerrain pat tern that can be transformer into a rule). Ninja Strategies for future work we gathered best strategies for the 4 categories and created action-steps to each strategy to make them instantly actionable. (source: Dessy) Aims: To close the previous day and prepare the path for a new takeoff, draw new perspectives by evoking deep motivations for social engagement which are both personal and common, deepen the group feeling but also prepare the ground for individual future work. Reflexion poster we reflected on what has been written on the walls since yesterday. Otaku we added new items to our exchange Wall Vision quest a guided visualisation that took place outside in the park. The participants were challenged to look for images of an utopic society/world that they are striving to create through their work. The aim was to draw inspiration from these visions and see the activities in a broader context. The participants shared the visions in pairs during a walk and later in the big group. The side effect of this exercise was that the community feeling in the group rose and a the exisiting connection was deepend.

Who am I? (an exercise that was proposed spontaneously by one of the participants) Everybody answers the question above 7 to 10 times. The idea is to look at different identification levels and to share them within a group)

Choosing Ninja Strategies each partcipant had to choose 4 top strategies (from the almost 40 that we gathered) he or she finds best fitting to his/her NGo situation and that he or she is committing to implement in the closest future.

Superhero game This game was inspired by a blogpost of Danielle Laporte from What s Your Super Hero Name? My superhero name is Agent Now. I particularly like the alliteration en Francais: L Agent Maintenant. My special power is seeing into the now so deep that I can see the past and the future. I laugh a lot because there is always a reason to laugh. I cry a lot because there is always a reason to cry. I have everything I need at all times essential things in my purse like tissue and magic markers and things that you need to hear only when you re ready to hear them. ANSWER THE BURNING QUESTION: What s Your Super Hero Name? What are your superpowers? What do you have in your purse?
