Working at Huron Hospital, A Cleveland clinic Hospital, a 210-bedded Community Hospital as a Palliative Care nurse practitioner and palliative Care Coordinator. Duties involved screening all patients and their families seeking healthcare at Huron Hospital, assign, planning and coordinating delivery of palliative care services as part of the palliative care team. Proving mentorship, palliative care education and carrying out research and publications in palliative care. Working as a PRN nursing supervisor in a 130-bedded nursing skilled facility in Cleveland, Cedar wood Plaza Ohio, USA from Responsible for supervision of 5 charge nurses, registered nurses (RN s) or licensed practical nurses (of LPN s) as well as 12 nurses aids at any one given 8-hour schedule. Standing in for the director of nursing during off hours, evaluating residents if condition changes, communicating changes to the physician as well as to the family and deciding who to send to hospital or not for further management, Communicating with referral hospitals about the transfers.
