2 PATHWAYS TO UNIVERSITY CONTENTS Aerospace Building Business Community Computing & IT Education Engineering Environment Fashion Hospitality Work Health and Safety NOTE Availability of credit transfer does not guarantee entry to a university. Credit is only provided after you have enrolled in a specified university course. If there is no Polytechnic West articulation agreement in place for either your chosen Polytechnic West course or chosen university, you may still approach any Australian university or higher education provider to negotiate your own credit transfer arrangements. The information on these tables is subject to change without notice. Polytechnic West endeavours to ensure information is correct at time of publication however changes to units and or courses can result in reduced credit. CURTIN UNIVERSITY Polytechnic West has an agreement with Curtin University which provides our Diploma and Advanced Diploma students, who graduate from the listed programs, guaranteed entry to the associated Curtin course, providing that you successfully complete your course and thus meet Curtin s academic and English entry requirements, that there are vacancies in the course* and you have no sanction or visa concerns. *Some Curtin courses have a fixed entry quota, eg Nursing, and if this has been filled then you may have to commence your studies at a subsequent study period. MURDOCH UNIVERSITY For students of Polytechnic West, entry to most Murdoch undergraduate coruses is guaranteed upon completion of an Australia Qualification Framework (AQF) Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree. To find out more about the courses on offer at Murdoch and/or entry pathway options, contact Murdoch University s Student Centre via phone on 1300-MURDOCH ( ) or study@murdoch.edu.au. For further information on applying for Advanced Standing (credit for prior learning), please contact advancedstanding@murdoch.edu.au. Please note: For international applicants whose first language is not English, they will need to have successfully completed these studies no more than 5 years old on the proposed date of commencement of their course at Murdoch University, otherwise evidence of English language proficiency will need to be given. Also, please note some of Murdoch s undergraduate courses have higher English language competency requirements for international students, such as the Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Veterinary Science.
