2 2014 was a year of great change and growth for Community Action Organization of Delaware, Madison and Union Counties. We purchased a new facility that brought us right down-town, in the heart of Marysville. We have invested more than $100,000 in improving that facility and more improvements yet to come. We also began the process to become designated as the Community Action Agency service provider in Champaign, Logan and Shelby Counties. We have fully implemented a higher quality of customer service by training all of our staff as Family Development Specialists to improve our role in providing help to the people we serve. The numbers in this report give you data but they don t tell the stories of the people who reach out to us for a hand up. Every week, County Managers report to me the changes that our staff help people with to improve their situation, sometimes it s just giving them information that they had not previously known, sometimes it s a service they weren t even aware that we provided but every time it is because of the caring nature of our staff and the willingness of our clients to say, I need help. Every day, at Community Action Organization of Delaware, Madison, Union, Champaign, Logan and Shelby Counties we are helping people and changing lives. Can t wait to see what good news the next year brings us! Sincerely, Rochelle Dennis Twining, Executive Director A N N U A L R E P O R T
