Maintained high volume of call intake and closure. Established and led the Proactive Team (a rotating team of 5-10 support engineers which produced technical articles for customer technical support). Contributed to a variety of process improvement initiatives to streamline support efficiency and reduce cost. Instructed up to 25 students at once in the use of MacWrite, Microsoft Word, and WordPerfect, as well as a variety of page-layout and art-editing programs. Computer Operator I at University of New Hampshire Computer Services May November 1987 (1 year 7 months) Managed print queues, monitored batch production, performed nightly backups on both VAX and DEC-10 mainframes. Operated Xerox 9000 (high-speed laser printer) and line-impact printers. Assisted users during late shifts in general computer use. Promoted to Tape Librarian in July 1987; catalogued and maintained tape library, prepared tapes for microfiche conversion and archiving, instructed users in tape use. Page 4
