Maintained high volume of call intake and closure. Established and led the Proactive Team (a rotating team of 5-10 support engineers which produced technical articles for customer technical support). Contributed to a variety of process improvement initiatives to streamline support efficiency and reduce cost. Developed and conducted internal training on processes and Sun-specific technology support. Reviewed and beta tested Product Licensing Course for SunSoft. Computer Education Specialist at Seacoast Computer, Inc September December 1993 (1 year 4 months) Developed and delivered 1-2 day classes on a wide variety of MS-DOS, Windows and Macintosh applications to up to 20 students at a time. Instructed up to 25 students at once in the use of MacWrite, Microsoft Word, and WordPerfect, as well as a variety of page-layout and art-editing programs. Computer Operator I at University of New Hampshire Computer Services May November 1987 (1 year 7 months) Managed print queues, monitored batch production, performed nightly backups on both VAX and DEC-10 mainframes. Operated Xerox 9000 (high-speed laser printer) and line-impact printers. Assisted users during late shifts in general computer use.
