2 Working with Deutsche Bank Internet Bankieren Before you get started, watch the handy instruction demos at onlinebanking. 3 Tips for logging in Make sure that you are using the right Digipas. Your Username and PIN code are linked to your personal Digipas. You can recognize your Digipas by the serial number on the back. This serial number is also stated on the letter you received together with your PIN code for activating the Digipas. After activation, place the sticker with your name on your Digipas. Activate your Digipas. Follow the steps given in the instruction manual accompanying your Digipas. You will not be able to use the Digipas to generate login codes and signatures until it has been activated. When logging in: 1. Select the applicable language Serial number This is only required the first time you log in; the computer will remember your preference the next time. Contact the helpdesk in the event of: A misplaced Digipas. A blocked Digipas. No Digipas has been received. The letter containing the User ID and/or PIN code for the Digipas has been misplaced. 3

4 Tips for logging in 2. Change the registration mode This is only required the first time you log in; the computer will remember your preference the next time. 4. Have your Digipas generate a Secure PIN (login code) for logging in. 1. Switch on the Digipas. Press the button and, with your other finger, press ON. 2. Enter your personal PIN code. If you make an error, press this button to delete the numbers entered. 3. Once SELECT appears on the display of your Digipas, press logon 1.. Your Digipas will now generate an 8-digit code. Enter this code on your computer. Change the registration mode in Digipas Enter the login code generated by your Digipas here 3. Enter your User ID You can find your User ID in the letter you received with your PIN code. The User ID must be entered every time you log in. Make sure your ID always ends with.nld. Next, press submit and you will be logged in successfully. Your username ending with.nld

6 Payment tips Enter single payment transactions under Create payments in My Bank When making payments to and from internal accounts (intercompany, such as from a savings to a checking account), all positions (10) for entering the account number must be filled in. Enter a 0 first if the account number has fewer than 10 digits. 2. The execution date must be the same as the authorisation date. If authorisation takes place the following day or later, re-enter the payment transaction. Payment transactions can only be carried out on business days. If the execution date is on a weekend or holiday, an error message will appear. 3. Click on Create different type of order to create other payment types. The following screen will appear. 6

7 Payment tips: batch payment In the Pay & Collect menu, select the Import File option to create a batch payment transaction (such as salary payments) Final transaction cut-off times Domestic outgoing payments in euro s: Single payments: hours Multiple (bulk) and batch payments: hours Urgent payments: hours If you enter a payment transaction after these times, the transaction will be carried out the following business day. See for all cut-off times for payment transactions via Deutsche Bank. 7

8 Payment tips: verifying status Check the status of payments in the payment summary Once a payment has been authorised, it will be displayed in the payment summary. Verify that the payment has been confirmed. Return payment due to insufficient balance Payments that have been returned due to an insufficient balance are shown in the My Bank menu under Account information/return payments. Payment confirmed: no more changes possible Payments shown under Confirmed payments can no longer be changed. Last 20 transactions for the selected account No limit The account summary does not show the limit per account. 8 Do not re-enter payments that are not immediately displayed in the transaction overview If a payment is not immediately displayed in the transaction overview, do not re-enter the payment or the transaction will be carried out twice. The overview of credits and debits is updated several times a day.

9 Reporting tips Check this box to include transaction details in the report. Check this box to receive a daily report instead of a periodical report. 9

10 Management tips: CHOBS Direct Tips for managing Internet Bankieren In the My Bank menu, select external links and then CHOBS Direct. CHOBS Direct at a glance The dashboard provides an overview of your accounts... the number of companies, accounts, joint limits and users that you manage... the users in your domain... and the tasks that you still need to authorise. Click on the number to immediately approve or reject tasks. All items in the list are visible. Add a user or a joint limit. 10

11 Tips for improving performance Go to to check whether you have the correct system settings. More browser information can also be found here. It may be possible to improve your browser speed by using Firefox. A screen may occasionally freeze. If this happens do not try to close the screen, but use the Refresh function (F5) instead.
