2 1. Introduction to MAX Auto Dialer 1.1 Overview: Auto dialer automatically dials a list of phone numbers to initiate phone conversations. Some called it predictive dialers, progressive dialers. Our Auto dialer is used by Schools, Churches, Clubs, Political Campaigns, Government Agencies, Businesses, and Professionals! Our products can be used for but not limited to telemarketing, emergency notification, and call center software. Our auto dialer can automatically call thousands of numbers from a phone list / database, leave messages to live people or answering machines, get touchtone or recorded responses, and can do a call transfer to an operator or agents. It will let the operator or agent increase efficiency dramatically without having to dial the phone numbers manually. The single line Speedy Dialer can also leave messages for upcoming appointments, emergency notification, or for telemarketing. 1.2 Feature: Smart, Easy to use, reliable, and affordable auto dialing. Automatic dialing with a single click. Live call transfer. Voice message for any response. Record and voice broadcast in your own voice. Detect human pick up and answering machine. Automatic retry for busy line or no answer. Set or schedule broadcast time, auto reschedule. Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly recurring broadcast. Save/restore calls list, import or copy-paste call list. Call till confirm for telephone alert escalation. Automatically schedule call for next day if calls not finished. Text-to-speech engine for customizing each phone call. Can import phones number from Excel sheet or Text file or from external database or from internal database. System Requirements and Installation: 2.1 System Requirements: To successfully install and operate MAX Auto Dialer, ensure your computer configuration meets or exceed the following requirements: Hardware Requirements: Pentium III with 850 MHz CPU or better. Hard disk with at least 200 MB of free space. Minimum of 512 MB RAM. Color SVGA display (800 x 600 or higher). Mouse or any other Windows-compatible pointing device. MAX Auto Dialer User Guide 2

3 2.1.2 Software Requirements: Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, or Windows XP operating system. Asterisk PBX sever 2.2 System Installation: 1. Double click on MAXAutoDialer.exe and click Next to pass welcome screen: 2. Select Destination Location then click Next. MAX Auto Dialer User Guide 3

4 3. Select Start Menu Folder then click Next. 4. You are not recommended to change the DSN as it is an ODBC on the system internal database then click Next. MAX Auto Dialer User Guide 4

Enter Asterisk Server Information then click Next Asterisk Server IP Address (5038) in Asterisk Server Port No (max) in Asterisk Server Login Name (maxmax) in Asterisk Server Login Password Or enter your Asterisk server configuration. 6. You must activate the product as this is the first time the MAX Auto Dialer runs, Contact your support person at MAIN Telecom and give him Your Product ID and Order ID and enter the License Key that will be given to you Then click Check. 7 2.3 Uninstall MAX Auto Dialer System: If you want to remove MAX Auto Dialer from your computer, you need to do this steps: Start Menu All Programs Max AutoDialer Uninstall MAXAutoDialer Then press Yes on the following appearance window: Then click OK on the following window for completing uninstalling: MAX Auto Dialer User Guide 7

How to use this application: The main form for the Auto Dialer system: 3.1 Buttons: Settings: Settings window should be the first window to be opened to save the settings that the Auto Dialer will take into considerations when start dialing customers. In the Trunks Settings enter the number of lines, first line number, last line number and dialing string; you have examples of dialing strings, write the one that your card supports it. In Agent Settings enter (ext-queues) in Context for enabling a specific queue to dials the customers or (ext-agents) for a specific agent. Enter queue extension number In Extension, priority of dialing, Max Retries that represents the maximum number of retries for calling the customer, Retry Time represents the time that the dialer will wait to retry calling the customer, Waiting Time represents the ringing time and finally Max Call Duration represents the maximum call duration. After finishing entering the settings click Close then click Yes for saving changes. MAX Auto Dialer User Guide 8

9 3.1.2 Internal DB: Internal DB function enables you from selecting specific customers to dial automatically; you can select all the customers by checking the Check All check box from the window bottom then click Start. After Click Start this form will appear enter Asterisk Server IP, share Username and Password and finally calls files path in Asterisk Server then click Ok to start dialing selected customers automatically External DB: External DB function enables you from importing customers data from another database except the auto dialer database. All what you should make is checking the Retrieve Data from ODBC, entering Data Source Name observing that it is case sensitive letters, Login Name and Password for ODBC. You can change in the query of selecting customers from the new database observing that you must set the fields you want to select between [$FieldName$]. After completing the past steps click Ok to open the customer data from external database to start selecting customers to dial automatically. MAX Auto Dialer User Guide 9

10 View/ Edit Numbers: Check View/Edit Number check box and click View/Edit Numbers to open customers data and edit in internal data Import Excel File: Import Excel File enables you from importing customers data from a CSV or text file. Select your data file observing that the file should be in (Name,Phone,Note) or (Name;Phone;Note) and select the separator of data (, or ;) then click Import button to open the customer data from external database to start selecting customers to dial automatically Export Database: Export database enables you from exporting internal and external customers data to a CSV or text file. Click the Export Database button to open Save As window just choose Save in location, enter File name, choose the Save as type (Excel or Text file) and finally click save to complete the export process Delete Numbers: Clicking Delete Numbers button enables you from deleting all internal customers data. After clicking this button a message with delete confirm will appear so click Yes if you really want to delete all numbers or click No for not deleting numbers Start: Clicking Start button enables you from starting dial customers automatically. Just click Start button to display a small window select Internal DB or External DB and click Ok to start selecting customers and dial them automatically. MAX Auto Dialer User Guide 10

11 3.1.8 Change Skins: Select skin name and click Apply button or click [Alt + p] to change the skin Timer Settings: Click Timer Settings button to open Timer Setting window to adjust a periodic timer to fire automatic dialing when this time is met. From Repeat Settings choose the type of repeat you want the auto dialer system repeats dialing with: Repeat Off -> if chosen will mean no repeat. Repeat every DD:HH:MM:SS:MS -> if chosen with activate Interval box to enter the interval of repeat. Repeat by Day of Month -> if chosen will activate Day of month for selecting one day. Repeat by week day -> if chosen will activate multi select week days. Select Repeat end condition if you chose any type of Repeat except Repeat Off. From Alarm Clock set the time and date that you want the timer to start from it and repeat with the interval that you determined then click Set Alarm and Apply buttons to complete the process.
