20 Communication Services - Unified Messaging 20 Unified Messaging (or UM) is the integration of different streams of communication ( , SMS, Fax, voice, video, etc.) into a single, or, unified 'message store', accessible from a variety of different devices. Inside a single repository The user can manage and store all its message like , fax and voice. This repository is the user mailbox. The channels available are: client (POP3, IMAP4, MAPI) Web TUI (Telephone User Interface)
