1 I. JOB IDENTIFICATION Position Title: Department/Business Unit: Immediate Supervisor: Accounting Associate Finance Accounting Services Managing Director II. PURPOSE This section describes the overall objective of this position. The Bookkeeper is in charge of monthly recording of daily transactions of clients. III. RESPONSIBILITIES This section describes the duties, roles and responsibilities of this position. This includes the major tasks and other details relevant to the job. Tasks Details Accounting and Bookkeeping Records daily transaction of the clients on a monthly basis Creates journal entries if needed Analyzes receipts on what category they will be recorded and if allowable or not Checks details of every receipt during BIR returns, tax return preparation (if a client is tax-exempt, follow up with the client for the appropriate forms) Prepares returns and gets approval on the form with the clients (once approved, pass to Admin for filing) Makes check preparation requests Schedules checks for signature Customer Service Speaks with the clients regarding all the concerns with the recording of expenses and income Full Suite Job Profile Accounting Associate 1
