New Thinking PROJECT MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTOR PROFILES Rod Gill Rod is an experienced trainer in project management and Microsoft Project with over 10 years experience in training and consulting in the area. He specialises in delivering advanced workshops on best practices to show users how best to use MS Project to help solve project management problems such as scheduling time critical and resource constrained projects. As a Microsoft MVP for Microsoft Project, he has written the two chapters on VBA for the book Special Edition Using Microsoft Project 2000 and has written the only book in the world on using Project VBA. Rod runs Project Learning Ltd. which develops companion products for Microsoft Project and is a Microsoft Project Partner. Julien Thomas Julien has over 25 years experience working in IT, starting as a programmer, through team leader and software architect and moving onto various senior management roles in IT. He has worked in a variety of industries, from banks, vendors and a number of government organisations. Today Julien leads an independent IT consultancy, providing IT and project management advisory to leaders in the IT industry. He also provides coaching, training and mentoring to individuals and organisations. Through this work, Julien keeps his project management skills current and relevant. Julien has a passion for doing software development the right way while balancing that with building the right thing. He strives to help IT organisations amaze and impress their customers. Robert Barnes Robert Barnes is a highly experienced course facilitator with extensive skills in project management and is an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP ).
