Review and summarize title commitments and surveys. Work closely with title companies to clear title and obtain title policies. Review and summarize UCC, judgment, tax and other lien searches. Prepare and file a variety of documents including: deeds, mortgages, memoranda of leases, UCC financing statements, bill of sale, affidavit of title, and transfer declarations. Obtain permits and other documentation from agencies. Prepare closing checklist and coordinate the closing process for various transactions including commercial and residential. Prepare and distribute closing binders. Other duties as may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position. Bachelors degree or Associates degree and Paralegal certificate. 5-7 years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in a law firm setting, an in-house legal department or title company. Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision. Effective interpersonal and team working skills.
