2 Key points 1 IDEC closedown September will be the last month of processing. After that, the infrastructure will not be available Final output file on 25 ober for September data If an airline has not migrated Passenger and Cargo billings by that date, it is essential to have back up plans, such as: Outsourcing to one of the companies that will produce an IS-IDEC or IS-XML file for you Getting the necessary staff in place for manual entry of coupon data in SIS Deferring billings until you have cut over, BUT agree this with your treasury team first as there could be a major cash flow impact 3 IS Week, 12 September Migration and Timelines Key points 2 UATP migration in ober P1 When this happens, ICH will no longer process direct claims in the U category The UATP U12 file will not be submitted The F12 service to ICH will cease Manual entry will be blocked The only way to submit U billings will be via the UATP ATCAN submission to SIS (Opted-in) Exceptions may be made for airlines that have certified for IS-XML submission in the UATP charge category, but this is at the discretion of UATP Manual entry of UATP billings will not be allowed If you have not yet opted-in to the UATP ATCAN-SIS submission, please talk to UATP about your options If you have not signed a SIS Participation Agreement, UATP will not be able to submit billings on your behalf CONTACT US URGENTLY 4 IS Week, 12 September Migration and Timelines 2

3 Key points 4 ICH Web blocking starts from P1 ober Airlines that have completed their migration and given the necessary 6 months notice will not accept claims via ICH-Web Attempts to submit an F12 file containing claims against these airlines will fail at the ICH To avoid last minute panic over failed F12 files, please ensure that claims against blocked members are entered in SIS 5 IS Week, 12 September Migration and Timelines Key points 5 ICH Web closedown at the end of P4 April 2013 All logons will be disabled at the end of P4 April If you have not migrated to SIS by that point you will lose your access to the ICH Termination will take place immediately for unmigrated members 6 IS Week, 12 September Migration and Timelines 3

4 Will there be any extensions? After all, the deadline for ET was extended The answer here is, basically, NO, on any count The IDEC infrastructure is being closed The UATP community cannot support claims from multiple sources If any migrated airline thought that the final deadline would be extended, they would immediately request blocks to be put in place so as not to receive old billings 7 IS Week, 12 September Migration and Timelines ET was not the same as SIS In general, if an airline did not migrate to ET, it only affected itself through the loss of access In interline, the effect is passed on to the migrated airlines, causing them to increase their costs The migrated airlines are unlikely to support any move to delay the cut-over The IDEC pricing is based on the incoming files from ATPCO That forces a billed airline not only to receive legacy billings, but to pay for them as well Restructuring an industry agreement so that the transmitter pays would be a lengthy process The un-migrated airlines would end up paying an ever-increasing cost for the legacy infrastructure 8 IS Week, 12 September Migration and Timelines 4
