2 Postsecondary CTE Participation and Preparation ( ) 55,131 students enrolled in CTE courses in postsecondary 3,596 community college students completed/exit a CTE program 3,727 students out of 4,835 (77%) continued their education, entered the workforce, or the military upon leaving postsecondary schools ( )
3 Secondary CTE Participation and Preparation ( ) 119,865 students enrolled in CTE courses in high school Nearly half (44%) of all high school students enroll in CTE courses 15,040 high school students completed a CTE program of study (26% of graduating class) 51% of CTE graduates also completed course requirements for admission to the University System of Maryland (in 1993 it was only 14%) 76% of CTE graduates were in college, working or in the military 2 quarters following graduation (data limited to Maryland colleges)
