The University has selected TIAA-CREF, a Yale retirement provider since 1920, to serve as the single recordkeeper of the Yale University Retirement Program. Lower pricing on many existing investments... with Vanguard University Retirement Program at TIAA-CREF will have lower fees. If you are invested in any of these funds, you will automatically qualify for the lower-cost the lower-cost share class. Prior to this change you will receive an information package regarding the new classes and their lower expenses. The change in the CREF accounts is unrelated to the transition of recordkeeping services to TIAA-CREF. No action is required to move current CREF investments to the new reduced-expense CREF options.
