Developed HMDC Intranet application project: Scheduling applications for sharable resources using Perl CGI programming. Involved in the research project on Geographic Information Systems in conjunction with the Hackensack Meadowland Development Commission (HMDC) sponsored by NASA, CIMIC, Rutgers University, Columbia University, HMDC and NEC to incorporate satellite remote sensing data, GIS systems (e.g., Idrisis, Arc/Info, ArcView) and the Internet to improve the environment control. Worked as a volunteer to propose a workflow security model for Amnesty International, System Administrator - CIMIC, May present. Responsibilities include All major maintenance work including maintaining user accounts, installing and configuring software/hardware on diverse platforms (Sun Solaris, HP UX, Windows NT and Novell. Configured networks and set up system backup strategies. Installed the latest security patches on the Solaris based Unix systems. Installed TCP/wrapper for reducing network security breach. Web server programming support including shell, HTML, CGI and JAVA script.
