1 Cooperative Media Advertising Plan for Members Only Here's a marketing special that is for members only! Save hundreds of dollars and get your business in front of potential customers. Through a series of unique partnerships with Sonoma County media, NCBE has an advertising opportunity for every member business, no matter what your size. Media partners include Comcast TV, The Press Democrat, Northbay Biz magazine, North Bay Business Journal and radio stations with Sonoma Media Group and Wine Country Radio. Production costs will be offered by Boylan Point Agency (NCBE member) at affordable rates, which will include a member to member discount of 15%.

2 Members Only Media Options Comcast Spotlight: Cable television can be an effective media to reach a wide audience. But if you go too wide, the cost can be staggering for a small business. Our coop program identifies a limited number of networks that reach an audience of viewers aged 40 plus, educated with higher income. Commercials will air over all 5 networks and total number of commercials per month will vary based on schedule. (See sample at This is an ideal program for branding your company and it presents an opportunity to promote seasonal offers as well. How it works: Your ad will be paired with either 1 or 2 member businesses. Production can include a video shoot, or still photos that can be manipulated in production to appear as live shots. 2 member commercials will allow for 12 seconds (ample time to show images and brand with voice over) and cost $500 per member business. 3 member commercials will allow 9 seconds per business and cost $350 per member business. Each business will be separated by a promotional slide for NCBE. Commercial production options can include working with still images and/or video. Still production would allow for the lowest cost, whereas video production will increase cost. Estimates are based on minimal production options (see sample video production at ww.ncbeadvertising.com). 2 hour video edit with still photos: $250 3 hr video shoot (including travel time) 2 hr video edit: $500 On site, or phone preproduction meeting required

3 Members Only Media Options Radio: Sonoma County has a variety of radio stations offering different musical formats, including one talk format. NCBE has partnered with 8 of these stations and can offer advertising opportunities that start as low as $200 per month (a 3 month commitment is required). Members will be given an option to sign up for a specific radio station, but the buy will only happen when the required number of participants have been signed to advertise on the same station (see Wine Country Radio (KRSH, 96X, Vintage 95.5, Y100.9): Wine Country Radio's NCBE Member's Only advertising program is designed to introduce your brand to listeners of either two or four of the groups stations. Each participant will have 10 commercials per week, 40 commercials per month for a total 120 commercials with a 3 month commitment. Commercials will daypart between 6AM to 7PM & 6AM to Midnight, plus streaming online. All participating members of the co-operative ad must agree on station selection.* Co-operative advertising options for 2 or 3 members are available: Two-member commercials would allow 25 seconds for each advertiser and 10 seconds for NCBE to separate the advertisers. Three-member commercials would allow for 15 seconds per advertiser and 2-5 second NCBE separators. Vintage advertisers: $300 per mo ($900 total) / 3 advertisers $200 per mo ($600 total) 96X - 2-advertisers: $300 per mo ($900 total) / 3 advertisers $200 per mo ($600 total) KRSH - 2-advertisers: $300 per mo ($900 total) / 3 advertisers $200 per mo ($600 total) Y advertisers: $300 per mo ($900 total) / 3 advertisers $200 per mo ($600 total) Production/writing cost - $75 per commercial

4 Members Only Media Options Radio: Sonoma Media Group (Froggy 92.9, 97.7 the River, Mi 104.9, Hot 101.7, KSRO 1350): The Sonoma Media Group NCBE Member's Only discount can be applied to all stations. Participating advertisers will receive 30 commercials per month on a mutually agreed upon station for a total 120 commercials (KSRO advertisers will receive 42 commercials per month and 126 total commercials) with a 3 month commitment. All participating members of the co-operative ad must agree on station selection.* Advertising run times will be 5AM to Midnight. Co-operative advertising options for 2 or 3 members are available: Two-member commercials would allow 25 seconds for each advertiser and 10 seconds for NCBE to separate the advertisers. Three-member commercials would allow for 15 seconds per advertiser and 2-5 second NCBE separators. Froggy - 2-advertisers: $500 ($1500 total / 3 advertisers $335 ($1005 total) 97.7 River - 2-advertisers: $500 ($1500 total / 3 advertisers $335 ($1005 total) KSRO 42-2-advertisers: $425 ($1275 total) / 3 advertisers $280 ($840 total) Hot advertisers: $375 ($1125 total) / 3 advertisers $250 ($750 total) Mi advertisers: $375 / 3 advertisers $250 Production/writing cost - $75 per commercial

5 Members Only Media Options Print: The Press Democrat The Press Democrat is offering a spadea wrap section which equals 3 full pages of advertising space. The NCBE wrap section would allow for a wide variety of ad sizes available to members at a dramatic discount. NCBE will utilize either a 1/4 page, or 1/2 page to promote the organization and the benefits of hiring a licensed contractor. The savings is dramatic. A one-time advertiser for 1/4 page with color would cost approimately $1560, in comparison the NCBE wrap would allow for a rate of $585 with color. The only caveat with this program is the wrap will run as an on call piece, meaning it will have to be sold and built then made available to the PD for them to place when room provides. (see Full Page /16th page $160 1/8 page $300 1/4 page $585 1/2 page $875 Full page $1500 All ads run in full color. Requirements are that members commit to a 2 time run. 6 4.854 Members Only Media Options Print: Northbay Biz Magazine The NorthBay Biz magazine has a long history of providing business news to the North Bay. The publication is distributed monthly to Sonoma, Marin and Napa County business leaders. Each month the magazine focuses on issues that are relative to business in the North Bay, including construction, medical facilities, wine sales and production, finance and more. Northbay Biz is offering the 9-14 rate for members to place an ad in a minimum of 3 issues. Ads placed through the NorthBay Biz NCBE co-op plan are required to use the appropriate bottom banner (see samples on net page) for the size of the ad. Choose the appropriate editorial for your 3 campaign from the NorthBay Biz editorial calendar. This program is offered as a standalone ad for NCBE members only (see

More than 67% of readers are owners, partners, or corporate level eecutives. This weekly publication offers a variety of editorial topics that relate to the various business interests in the North Bay. Published weekly the paper is distributed in three counties; Sonoma, Marin and Napa. There are many special sections that spotlight particular industries, including construction, health, wine and technology. If your interest is to place your company in front of businesses, business owners and key management, the NBBJ has much to offer. NCBE members will benefit from a special offer to members only allowing for a 26 insertion rate for 3 issues.
