31 What information can we leverage? The number of IIE Webinars range from 1 to 7 per month February had the most (7), May and June held the least (1) # of webinars Webinars seem to 'slow' in the summer and annual conference months (6 in May - Aug and 36 across all other months) Ergonomics divisions held 8 webinars throughout 2014 Ergonomics, Lean & Healthcare topics seem to be the most popular themes Many 'Non-members' join a webinar (topic interest versus Division Member alliance) Student participants is the lowest percentage of participant demographic Average participation # is right skewed based on some highly attended webinars Several members are taking advantage of multiple webinars Observations
32 Opportunities to provide greater value: Promote cross division/society collaboration of webinars (e.g. Lean and Process Industries) Leverage Newsletters (even for topics sponsored by others) Leverage Social Media Consider summer webinar topics for our membership (best papers to present) Leverage best practices and share with other divisions (e.g. Ergonomics) Promote and increase student participation in IIE webinars (best student papers) Analyze participant feedback and sentiment to identify common themes and improvement opportunities Perform webinar analysis regularly, share best practices at Annual Conference and beyond Opportunities Notes: 1) Please contact Carol Le Blanc 8 weeks in advance of scheduling and promoting an event (cleblanc@iienet.org ) 2) Live virtual conferences are not being supported by IIE
