1 Marquette University Learning Assessment Plan Biomedical Engineering Program: Biomedical Engineering Degree: B.S.B.E. Date Submitted: May 4, 2006 Program Learning Outcomes Students will be able to: 1. Apply knowledge of math, science and engineering (ABET A) to solve problems encountered in the biomedical field. 2. Design and conduct experiments; analyze and interpret data (ABET B) Performance Indicators Measures to be Used Program Analysis of Data Uses appropriate statistical test to compare populations Uses differential equations to solve problems in biological systems Writes a computer algorithm to solve a biomedical problem Designs a device or models a system with biomedical application using knowledge of science, math and engineering States importance of sample size and composition.
