35 Main Conclusions 4. Conclusions Permanent Test Beds are an excellent tool to support research, development and deployment of innovative ITS systems and services in Europe. The implication of main stakeholders in the region is a key factor to achieve success and life after research and development. In the case of Vigo ITS Test Bed, the leadership of DGT and Vigo Council together with CTAG, as research, development and testing innovation centre, has promoted public private partnership, creating new possibilities for the development of the region based on the use of ITS technologies A pan European Network of Test Beds sharing knowledge, best practices and common solutions, will bring many advantages as, for example, contribution to interoperability and standardization solutions at European level. 35 TTRANS Jornadas sobre ITS en Galicia, Porriño 24 de Septiembre de 2013
