1 SYLLABUS FOR 91L30 ADVANCE LEADER COURSE Purpose: The Resident MOS 91L30 Senior Construction Equipment Repairer Course provides Ordnance Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) with common leader and skill level 3 technical training required to perform duties as a Senior Construction Equipment Repairer. Course Scope: 32.0 hours of Common Logistics training MOS specific training: 13.3 hours of construction equipment repair fundamentals; 48.7 hours of construction equipment repair; 34.3 hours of construction equipment repair performance evaluation; 18.5 hours of automotive air conditioning; 16.6 hours of welding and cutting familiarization hours of maintenance management. Study assignments are conducted on the U.S. Army Engineer School Blackboard and consist of managing a maintenance facility safety program; establishing a maintenance facility publications library; establishing maintenance facilities; managing tool control procedures; managing key control procedures; managing the TMDE Calibration Program; supervising maintenance operations; and Ordnance Corps history. Plus, a study assignment is conducted on the U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center Blackboard and consists of the Commander's Safety Course hours for Mandatory Training Course Prerequisites: 1. Upon enrollment, all students must meet the standards prescribed by AR 350-1, AR 600-9, and DA PAM (Note: These prerequisites may not be amended by local requirements.) 2. Active duty students must have a minimum of twelve months remaining on their current enlistment. 3. All qualified Soldiers must be enrolled in the Senior Construction Equipment Repairer Course in a regular scheduled training status when approved by their unit commander. 4. Prior to attending, Soldiers over 40 years of age must complete a medical screening at their local installation, and then hand carry a copy of the medical screening report to the Chief, Senior Construction Equipment Repairer Course (ALC). 5. It is a training requirement to have the ability to logon to the Fort Leonard Wood network to access and complete mandatory study assignments. Each student needs to be released from their home station. DOIM to enable enrollment onto the Fort Leonard Wood network.

In a classroom and shop area environment, given instruction on Section 609 of the Clean Air Act, a demonstration of the refrigerant recovery/recycling unit, refrigerant, bar gauge manifold set, safety equipment, and student handout. Discuss the provisions of Section 609 of the Clean Air Act and set up the refrigerant recovery/recycling unit without damage to equipment or the environment and injury to personnel, and with 100% accuracy. Be able to produce unit policies, SOP's covering maintenance, safety, physical security, TMDE, Publications that protect and preserve Army personnel, equipment, and provide for safe Army Maintenance operations.
12 Module: Module-E Title: Maintenance Management Practical Exercise (Written) 6.0 Small Group Instruction 75.1 Practical Exercise (Hands-On) 0.0 Total Hours (Admin & Academic) 81.1 Lesson Title: Supervise Maintenance Work Load Supervise Maintenance Workload You are given the requirement of assigning priority of work, supervising the work-order processing, service schedules, managing man hours, and Prescribed Load List (PLL) and Shop Stock (SSL). Given required maintenance forms, required publications (Regulations, DA Pamphlets, FMs, and TMs), notebook, computer with SAMS-1E /GCSS end users manual. Students must complete a practical exercise scenario resulting in 100% of all learning objectives.
13 Module: Module-G Title: GCSS-Army Small Group Instruction 38.6 Practical Exercise (Hands-On) 1.4 Total Hours (Admin & Academic) 40.0 Lesson Title: Introduction to the Global Combat Support System (GCSS) - Army Plant Maintenance Introduction to the Global Combat Support System (GCSS) - Army Plant Maintenance. In an operational environment, managing Equipment Records Parts Specialist utilizing GCSS-Army logistic information systems, using required organizational information, GCSS-Army (EUM+) and reference materials. Students identify and employ GCSS-Army terms; complete all lesson transaction simulations within the Interactive Multi-Media; answer all scenario based check on learning questions and pass a performance based exam based on the requirements associated with the accredited course Individual Student Assessment Plan (ISAP).
