13 Infrastructure The offered area is served by good highway network. The Fazenda Belém Field is about 130 km from the Petrobras lubricant plant at Fortaleza and around 135 km from the Guamaré UPGN (Natural Gas Plant), located in the Rio Grande do Norte State.

50 Final Remarks The twenty offered exploratory blocks are very interesting due to its proximity from the Fazenda Belém Field. The Fazenda Belém Field has been producing since june of 1980 and yields presently about 1,905 barrels of oil per day (14º API) in shallow wells from 300 to 500 meters depth. ANP estimates that the twenty offered blocks could have a potential reserves around 15 MM barrels of oil similar to the Fazenda Belém accumulation.
