1 Advice to take your online exam to qualify as DGNB Consultant 1 DGNB GmbH
2 Online exam General information Date / Time : date and time will be communicated during the DGNB Consultant Training and not later than 2 weeks before the exam. Location: Online. You can take your exam at home or at your work place. Alternatively, if wished by the DGNB partner, a location for the exam will be communicated not later than 2 weeks before the exam. Admission requirements: Participation in the DGNB Consultant Training. Qualification: After successfully passing this exam, participants will be accredited as DGNB Consultant 2 DGNB GmbH
3 Online exam General information Topics: 71 multiple-choice questions on the course content based on the material presented during the training. DGNB tools are not needed. The questions are distributed as follows: 1. General: 15 questions about the DGNB Certification System, its assessment procedure and the role of a DGNB Auditor 2. Environmental Quality: 8 questions 3. Economic Quality: 9 questions 4. Sociocultural and Functional Quality: 15 questions 5. Technical Quality: 11 questions 6. Process Quality: 9 questions 7. Site Quality: 4 questions Scoring: maximum achievable score is 155. In order to pass your exam you need at least 50% of the maximum achievable score. 3 DGNB GmbH
4 The PC-based exam is taken online via internet, so it is not necessary to install any software on the local PC. The Pop-up Blockers have to be deactivated! Use Internet Explorer or Firefox, as the exam does not work with Safari (Apple) and Chrome! Please note: Some questions require more than one answer! 4 DGNB GmbH
5 For taking the exam go to the following link on the date and time of your online exam. You will be able to login 10 minutes before the beginning of the exam. To access to the exam enter your login (Name) and password (PIN) provided by the DGNB or the DGNB partner The exam lasts 60 minutes starting with the time of your individual Login (e.g., if you login at 9:03 a.m., your time will end at 10:03 a.m.). 5 DGNB GmbH
6 Exam Procedure To check whether you have rightly configured your computer (by using the right browser and switching off the pop-up-blocker) you can even now go to the website Now you should see the Login-Window. If you can see it, your computer is well prepared for the exam. 6 DGNB GmbH
7 To begin with your exam click on the START button, as described in the following picture with a red arrow Here you see your first and last name Click this button to start the exam 7 DGNB GmbH
8 You will be asked if you really want to start the examination. Click OK to start your exam 8 DGNB GmbH
9 BACK / NEXT buttons 1.1 The exam will start with question 1.1 of the general multiple choice questions To go to the next or previous question in sequence, use the BACK and NEXT buttons at the top left of the screen or select a specific question listed in the column on the left side of the page, as described in the following picture You can follow up with the number of questions that you have already answered so far at the bottom, on the right side of the screen Select a specific questions Check the number of questions already answered 9 DGNB GmbH
10 END button 1.1 To finish your exam click on the END button in the menu bar at the top of the page You will be asked if you really want to finish your exam. In case you have forgotten to answer to some questions, you will still have the chance to go back to the exam by clicking on the No button. Click on the YES button to finish your exam 10 DGNB GmbH
