3 BACHELOR OF CREATIVE ARTS INDUSTRIES Three year full-time degree (24 units/subjects) Designed for the creative, innovative and multi-talented individual who wishes to study in more than one creative field and gain the knowledge, expertise and skill for a successful career in the creative industries. Students choose and complete two creative majors (of 6 units each) in: Music, Performance, Creative Writing, Visual Art and Digital Media Specialist studies are supplemented by 8 core units including ideas development, innovation, web design, event management, and professional engagement and 4 elective units of choice.

4 What are the Creative Arts Industries? The creative industries are not simply defined - they include cultural sectors such as visual and performing arts, as well as sectors dubbed multi-media such as film and television, broadcasting, computer animation, music, writing and publishing. Creative Workers Employment in the creative industries is either as a specialist creative or support worker or in the non-creative industries as an embedded creative. There is also a growing sector in Australia of small businesses and creative entrepreneurs.
