11 Video Conferencing Introduction Video Conferencing is when two or more locations communicate simultaneous in two-way video and audio transmissions. Generally, it is designed to serve a conference or multiple locations rather than individuals. Students and teachers can explore, communicate, analyze and share information and ideas with one another. Students and teachers can visit other parts of the world to speak with their peers, and visit museums and educational facilities

12 Video Conferencing Video or Web? Video Conferencing vs. Web Conferencing Web Conferencing typically is a way to give a guided tour of an application in a browser. It is used to have someone in one location click through an application to show off its functionality to someone else in a different location. Video Conferencing typically uses video cameras or webcams to make a person in a remote location appear to be in the same room as a group of people meeting, or to join two different meeting groups together who are in different physical locations. Web Conferencing typically is technology or application focused, and Video Conferencing is people focused.
